What a win. Almost threw the game away with stupid penalties, but a great 3rd period. Love Gill's dive at the end to get the icing.

It's called parity and that's what make this league so much more exciting than a lot of pro leagues out there.

Finally a win in Van City. We took two against the best team in the league. There is something positive about that.

I will be wearing my Habs gear wherever I go tomorrow . Gonna get some nices looks because of it!

I'm glad we won but the 2nd and 3rd were painful to watch.

3 good games in a row for Eller now, and that line was really good tonight. Subban with 26+ minutes to lead the team as a rookie and Price gets redemption in Vancouver after getting lit up there on his last visit.

A well earned 2 points.

The DD, Pouliot and White line, 5 minutes...were some players being showcased???

Looks like Montreal has found a winning combination in Eller and Kostitsyn.

Don't ask how/why, we are the Montreal Canadiens and this has been a recurring theme.

Yes! Massive victory for the Canadiens!

I absolutely loved the Eller/Kostitsyn combination tonight. Eller was covering the entire ice surface, showed excellent hustle (he's a tremendous skater), and was not afraid to get into the corners. The pass to Kostitsyn for his goal was beautiful, and he almost set up Andrei again for another goal halfway through the third. The fact that Martin had him out on the ice in the final minute is very promising. That's probably the first time I can recall that Eller played in the final minute, especially in a one-goal game.

Very disappointed that David Desharnais did not get on the ice in the third period. Is it because Pouliot took his dumb penalty, and Martin did not want to put Pouliot back on the ice? It was a shame, because Desharnais is the complete opposite of Pouliot. Plays hard and plays smart, and I wish 57 would learn from the smaller teammate.

I couldn't watch most of the game tonight, but did Eller play on the same line as AK?

Give Martin credit - he shortened the bench in the 3rd to shut down the Canucks.
Defensive gems from Moen and A. Kost.
Gill was a beauty.
Gomez/Gio/Patches were solid
Pleks/Cammy/Halpern got better as the game went on. Pleks got roasted in the faceoff circle, but played great zone defense. Camallerri made some nice plays.
Wis was better tonight than he has been in weeks.

Solid effort in a toguh place to win against a very good team!

I'm starting too feel like we just have four generic second/third lines, anyone else get that vibe?
