I hope Base doesn't mind me making the GDT for today! My amazing GDT record will help us lose.

Unfortunately all winning streaks must come to an end eventually.

Hoping we send down Gaunce and Olver, so they get to help LEM. No use having them here if they aren't going to play. Koci is enough insurance.

Gaunce should play in place of Hunwick. Not a big fan of Olver. Wheres Van Der Gulik?

And the song choice is EJ asking about love/Birds & the Bees to the Blues GM and the Blues laughing and then trading him.

I can't wait 'till next season. We could have a real playoff team.

You may be disappointed, you may not. If we can sign Bryz/Vokoun since goaltending does matter, and have everyone stay healthy in the injury department on the back end, I can see this team making 6 - 8th. If injuries occur and we roll with Elliot/Budaj... the tank will be on. Either way: EJ - Quincey Liles - OB Holos - Wilson E: someone is probably the best defensive pairings we've had in a while.

I think the team still has some deals to make at the deadline, draft and free agency.
But Sherman seems to have a plan and I expect a number 1 goaltender soon.

Mueller-Stastny-Jones
Flash-Duchene-Duke
McClement-O'Reilly-Galiardi
Winnik-Dupuis-Mcleod/Yip/Porter etc.

EJ-Quincey
Liles(??????)-O'B
Wilson-Holos/Gaunce/Hunwick/Cumiskey etc.

Mystery goalie
Elliott/Budaj

Seems like a playoff worthy team, but yes we would need a number 1 goalie.

I would be absolutely stoked about our future if we managed to attain a potential number 1 goaltender and still have the core intact.

Yeah, that lineup is based more on a guy like Vokoun coming in.

Screw the Tank. Let's keep it rolling and get 2 in a row.

I want Bryzgalov, not even because he's a good goaltender (that's a bonus) but because his interviews are freakin' hilarious. Like when he explained why Chris Pronger would want to leave Edmonton, or how he makes saves in a shootout, guy is gold. I do realize that he probably won't be available.

Screw winning, I want to tank

I think the ideal situation would be the Avs continuing to be competitive in games, but losing, gets the frustration level up for next season, makes the boys want to prove something, and we get Landeskog/Larsson

If we roll with Elliot/Budaj, I don't see us going anywhere. Same with if we don't get someone else via trade/free agency/one of our prospects on D comes through in a big way.

I can always hold out hope that the Avs reputation as a great team to play for, and that the city of Denver is a great place to live still stand.

That and Phoenix does something really stupid to piss off Bryz.

Skip to 1:02 for Bryzgalov explaining his mask.

To ensure victory (and by victory I mean loose) NO ONE! talk about Stastny sucking/disappearing/caspering/leaching off his dad's name/etc. in this thread. Its like his 6th sense is knowing what people post about him on HF or something.

If Elliott gets the start he'll have a 48 shot shutout!
