What do you think was offered... supposedly they were nice packages, but Burke said while he is here, Luke Schenn is going no where.

Statsny
Shattenkirk

E.Johnson
Tarasenko

Just examples of what I think could of been offered.
Stastny and Shattenkirk is a huge deal..That's more than EJ got, which would never happen.

And the Blues would not have attempted to trade EJ for Schenn, seeing as they traded him for young offensive help..Throwing in Tarasenko is even more unrealistic.

I'd aim a lot lower. I could see Schenn getting a player like Stewart in theory, but EJ is more proven and has a much more effective offensive side which makes him more appealing to Colorado then Schenn.

Pavelski seems like a possibility, I've heard his name thrown around a bit.

I'm not too sure who was offered. I'm just happy the Burke has declared him untouchable. Finally we get to see some draft picks develop into their full potential with us. Reimer/Kule are in that group aswell hopefully.

During the 09 draft, Burke made a comment that he could've moved up to take Tavares, but he wouldve had to give up Schenn. Probably wouldve been Schenn and the pick (Kadri) for Tavares.

It was Schenn, Kaberle and the 7th overall pick for the 2nd overall pick.

I would have done that if Burke would have picked Duchene.

Lupul - Duchene - Kessel

I would love Duchene on the team but look at what those assets turned into at this point in time:

Kaberle -> BOS 1st, Colborne, conditional 2nd
7th Overall -> Kadri
Schenn -> Schenn

So... Duchene for BOS 1st, Colborne, Kadri, Schenn and a conditional 2nd.

Seems like a pretty insane price to pay for Duchene.

a ridiculous package wtf are you smoking

he is a solid #4 dman who has peaked at 21

he has no offensive game to speak off and skates a bit above average

what you see is what you get ....if any fool hands you a front line forward you jump

at it and worry about toyr D in the summer

WTF what do you think he is the second coming of Lidstrom ?

wake up its Tuesday

If he had a chance to get Stastny and didn't take it, I'd personally punch him in the balls

Might be bias because he is my favorite player, but I really hope Luke Schenn is not even considered in trade talks

I was thinking if L. Schenn for E. Johnson was fair value, both similar players

Who does Schenn compare to the most?

a young brooks orpik? young barret jackman?

similar if not less value than tyler myers at the moment? its tough to gauge

you cant really compare EJ and Schenn; Luke has current ability whereas EJ has a huge ceiling for potential that Luke doesn't have. With Schenn, WYSIWYG

I recall last year Burke said he had an offer for Schenn involving a top 5 pick.

Tampa Bay also made it public they would trade 2nd overall for Kaberle and Schenn.

I don't know if I would, but we could have drafted Duchene with 2nd overall.

Is Duchene more valuable than Schenn, Bos 1st 2011 and Colborne?
