I mostly associate the numbers with the 1986-87 team...Tim Kerr is always 12 for me..and 9 is Eklund since those two used to destroy teams on the PP. 8 is Marsh since my friend loved the guy and would etch it everywhere including in my head! 2 is definitely Howe. 22 Tocchet, 25 Zezel etc etc.

10 of course is LeClair...and 37 is Desjardins no doubt. Carkner is def 29 and etched in my head because the guy was a human turnstyle so I would always see the back of his Jersey more than I liked....

no need to rip on terry "turnstule". Would love to have a guy like him though on the backend though. One of the better fights i seen was him and Probert. Probert had him early, carkner came back, probert at the end. Bothguys were gased in the penalty box.

I like Terry Turnstyle as NWO referred to him...

Carkner in his initial year or so with the Flyers was fine and yes awesome as a fighter but then his liability of getting turned around constantly become too much..I started hating him.

I used to like Garry Galley but then him and Recchi dissed me pretty rudely when I went to the practice facility to get autographs. Brind'amour and Lindros were the most affable when it came to that and Soderstrom was the funniest. As I was getting his autograph he was commenting to me about the girls in a low voice and how he wanted to bang them...

There were a few options and Niitty was one. I didn't go with the best player, just a first thought when visualizing the number.

I made an exception for #2. Some were tougher (3, 12, 15, 17, 18, etc.) than others for different reasons..

Bernie Parent was # 30 for the early part of his first stint with the Flyers (and also Toronto).

That, my friend is some decent HAH-key knowledge! Beautiful! (imitating Tony Bruno).
