I was being sarcastic, apologies for putting the wrong emoticon.

Its just not reasonable to draw that conclusion based on 3 minutes of ice time.

good vid about cody's play time -TSN.......Av talks about being down by two dont think anyone (4th line-even if traded for) would have played....mentions kesler was a 4th liner at one time...probably wouldnt have seen the ice either..

Kesler mentions going that route...sedins too......

needed to ride the top 2 lines to get back in.

wouldnt read too much into will see how the team does with a lead.

So, listening to B-Mac and Baker this morning was a pain, with Baker in particular acting like Hodgson was a collosal bust.

And at the same time these guys are probably raving about Cory Schneider. Development takes time and there are going to be ups and downs along the way.

I hate how focused in our media is on Hodgson whenever he's in the lineup. Now we've got other players answering questions about him. It's stupid.

Hodgson is taking it well though. He's going to be a great player in this league for sure.

I just hope they'll play Cody more next time regardless of the score. They gotta keep the bigger picture in mind (trying to evaluate him as a potential 4th line centre)! It's just a regular season game plus we're leading the West, so we might as well experiment with what can help us come playoff time. Everyone knows that's the only thing that matter anyway. We don't have to try to win every game and end up sacrificing a bit of the process in doing so. Play him more when we're down - see if he can help get some offense from the 4th line instead.

Not sure how anyone can make any kind of opinion until Cody is given a chance. Not sure why they call these young guys up and give them the "odd" shift. Experience? Can't do much for the confidence
