How bout getting in the shooting lane JW? Not jumping to the side
Doughty has been very, very lazy and irresponsible in this department the last 4 games. Greene has been a big culprit of this lately too but Drew has been making way too many defensive errors that lead to goals.
Just frustrating to see all these d-man making an impact in the NHL and our pick is struggling to stay in the lineup in the AHL.
That was such a heads up play by Sbisa faking the shot.
The guy's been pretty mediocre in general though. After Philly rushed him it took him a few years to even get back to the NHL and he's only had, what, 7 points this year?
I'm more bummed that we missed out on Erik Karlsson.
Drewiske has looked not the greatest in the defensive zone, but his two long passes led to the Westgarth breakaway (ugh) and the 2-on-1 with Williams/Stoll.

He absolutely has been, you're right. But on this goal, JW easily could have blocked the shot or at least gotten in the lane and make Sbisa hesitate to try to get it through. Little things like that piss me off.
Drewiski almost cost the Kings a 3 on 1 going the other way with him shooting that puck right into the Duck like that. There was no way that could do anything but hit the Duck. He just panics when he runs out of space and makes very bad errors.

JW, DD and Mitchell were all guilty of standing around and assuming somebody else would do their job. It wouldn't have been so bad if they were communicating with eachother but that wasn't happening.
In regards to the up to date play, the Ducks goalie has started to put it together in the second. Pretty sound second for him.

Does Richardson get a pass on that 2nd goal? There is absolutely no way he should have gone to the weak side point, the guy without the puck, he immediately should have taken time and space away from Sbisa, instead he left it to Williams, absolute brutal play by Richardson
