My 2nd favorite part of the game was when Kopitar missed the net by about 10 feet and he ended up smoking Tim Peel in the leg. He's one of those refs that I don't mind taking a puck off the leg.

Call up Moller!

These are the lines I'd like to see:

Moller-Kopitar-Williams
Smyth-Stoll-Brown
Sturm-Richardson-Simmonds
Clifford-Handzus-Lewis

And Richardson has been excellent lately. Absolutely NO reason why he shouldn't be in the line up.

Very impressive. Woke the Kings up after not being in the game for the first 10 minutes of the first.

Man tmrw's game is just as big. Were tied with MIN in points and gp. Let's hope they don't have the usual coming home stinker that most teams do. Plus its a back to back.

How on earth is Sturm allowed to be entitled to come to the Kings and suck, get injured, and the second he comes back he's allowed to go right on the top line. That's BS accountability. He hasn't earned anything but a scratch and yet Murray hypocriticaly doesn't care about his standards that he set.

Yet they are only 2 points ahead of both.

I'm sure he's still nursing the knee. Bring Lokti back please.

Murray says that he doesn't want to move someone just because they got injured. He gets his spot back once they are healthy. Not like Sturm was wrecking it when he was healthy, but that's what he said.

True, but Kings are in better shape for the stretch run.

Stars might dump Richards and who knows what will happen with Hiller.

I can't believe how beastly Clifford is for a 20 yr. old. Man-child, really.

It blows my mind that we're in sixth place after going 9-1-3 and people still find so much to complain about.

If somebody told me that the Kings would take fifteen out of twenty points on this road trip I would have called them a liar ... then quietly hoped they did.

I is drunk and the happys.

It is because the team still can't score goals. They were out shot 27-18 tonight against a team missing their top two centers and top goalie.

21 goals in 10 games is not good enough. The goalies and defensemen have to play almost perfect hockey to give the Kings a chance to win.

Most are happy that the Kings are back in the top eight, but the Kings have had two major downswings this season when the defense falters. I would like to see some offensive creativity in the Kings game.

Schenn had five points tonight this kid is a beast in CHL hockey.

The Kings played well, once again though the second period looked pretty bad. Gotta shore that up.

(on the tight Western Conference…)
DOUGHTY: “Every two points is just so important. I think I finally figured out to not even look at the standings. If you don’t win, there’s not even any point in looking at it, because you’re not going to move up. We’ve just got to continue to keep doing this, treat every game like it’s a playoff game. If we win 95 percent of the games from here on out, I think we’ll have a good spot in the playoffs.”
Doughty wants 21 wins to close the season to get a good spot.

Very impressed with Justin Williams again. Night after night, he shows his smarts, is as creative offensively as any forward the Kings have, and always finds ways to get opposing defenders off balance.

Careful with that creativity comment. Murray might say he doesn't play heavy enough and was exposed along the boards. Williams might sit for Poni.

Good win. JW really shows how vital he is to our offense. He deserves an ext, but at what price? Hopefully he'll take a team discount

I love a healthy JW

Huge REGULATION win, hopefully the kings can do the same tomorrow, even though it seems like every kings/wild game ends up going to a shootout

(Oh yeah sorry, let me rephrase that...)

Did you see that Williams tonight, he can hit like a mother****er...

He's nothing like that guy Loktionov, not a thing...

(There, that should keep Williams in the lineup awhile)
