The world doesn't revolve around me, or any of you. It'll happen, or it won't. Besides, I'd rather it not happen and have our goalies keep their already good GAAs. A goalie with a good GAA is better than another goalie who has the exact same GAA with multiple shutouts.

Martinek and Jurcina are both out for the Isles with lower body injuries. Bruno Gervais and Mark Katic are in. Joensuu was sent back to the minors so we can assume that Rob Schremp will take his place.

Isles have been playing much better lately compared to the last time we played them. All of these scrappy teams would love to beat us down. Flyers need to starting bringing their A game everynight from now till the playoffs.

I'm a reasonably minded person, don't believe in Jinx's either but I don't say it because it is one of the unwritten rules of hockey.

You just don't go throwing stones in glass houses. This 'rule' of mentioning the 'S' word has been around since before any of us.

You sir/madame are spitting all over hockey uttering the 'S' word whether you believe in Jinx's or not.

Let's go Flyers! Kick some Long Island butts.

As for that whole superstition issue... I'm an extremely rational man in my outlook on life. I don't believe in anything supernatural and so forth. When I play hockey though, somehow I always take on my equipment in the same order, I have to do a special spin before the first faceoff in each period. And a whole bunch of other things that I always do to feel fully at ease with my preparations before and during games. I know that they're not actually essential and meaningful to the end result, I mean I have lost games and still done all these things, yet I continue doing them. In the rest of my life I don't have anything of this sort going on. No special morning ritual or anything like that.

Posting on an Internet forum about hockey, though... that's where I draw the line. Therefore, we'll win this one 7-0. Brière and Carter with 2 goals each.

1st off, wow. What a GDT you guys have. Do you have the history lesson for every game? That was mighty impressive.

2. 5 of our top 7 D are injured as well as our top two goalies. You guys 'should' destroy us.

Hopefully Montoya and Moulson stay hot, or I don't think we have a chance.

Good luck tonight guys!

Yup, every GDT is packed full of series history and vids to watch. They're great.

Here's to keeping the injury bug at arm's length.

Rebound time. Islanders are pretty much the Flyers' whipping boy, so a blowout would be nice. Though something tells me it's going to be another 1 goal differential affair.

Just win the ****ing thing. I'd love to see a dominating performance from the Flyers for a change. Dominate all 3 periods, not 2 periods then **** the bed in the third.

Lets Go Flyers!!
