Anyone with a half brain will agree that the Devils have a more talented team that leafs. However, we have a better chance statistically.

If rangers fans dont want him, then fine..but keep in mind richards will want to win next season...if the rangers flop around 8th in east this year and lose in 1st round, what makes them most desirable for richards to sign there?

IMO richards will re-sign with the team he finishes the season with..so teams who aren't prepared to trade for him, be prepared for him to sign elsewhere next season as well,

Not really. Have you looked at Toronto's schedule the rest of the way?

If Richards isn't ready to go by Monday I don't see him beaing dealt. No team is going to offer enough to get him out of Dallas without knowing he's 100% ready to play.

I guess the NHL salary cap is not applicable to Tampa? Stamkos will be an RFA next year, and IMO, the Bolts need to address goaltending and D before even looking at Richards. Unless they trade Lecavalier, but will Richards go there if his pal has been traded?

But the fan can criticize both teams and not expect a reply?

Actually not true. The Devils are 9-0-1 in their last 10 and the Leafs are 6-2-2. Considering the way both teams have been playing, statistically the Devils have a big chance of catching up with the Leafs.

They really don't. The Devils brought back an amazing coach and have them playing the trap again. They're not that talented.

The asking price for Richards will drop at deadline day. The Stars are in a really tough position with him being UFA and injured right now and not looking like they have the $ to re-sign him.

on july 1st there is no real #1 center let alone a top #1 avaliable so prices may stay high just to have a chance to get him and possibly resign him before Jul 1st

too many teams need that centerman ....Clb,Cgy,NYR,Mon?,Nas,Edm,Phx,buff?,????

if they cant resign him or trade him at the deadline they can still get a a good price at the draft.......too many teams looking for that one peice incl dallas

Not a chance in hell unless Brad is coming here re-signed with a GREAT contract that works for us.
