It looks like our offense has more chemistry in this game than it did in recent games, but it still isn't enough. This is awful

another season, another disappointment. Whatever happened to that much ballyhooed 'depth' we had? No need for Poile for be looking for another player unless it's someone who can hit what he aims at.

one losing streak? look at all the losing streaks we have had this year, We are to streaky, to banged up, and dont have the scoring ability to keep up with the other teams in the west. I dont see us making the playoffs especially with our play since the AS break.

folks:

those of you @ Bridgestone Arena may not be allowed to leave once this game concludes; you have a severe squall line heading directly for you which is scheduled to hit by the conclusion of this game........

You realize that with the last 5 game losing streak we had we went on a 5 game winning streak in response to it. It's an 82 game season for pete's sake, not college football season. Hell, we could still win THIS game.

BUT IT'S DOOMSDAY

Unable to watch again tonight, so I'm relagate to looking at the box score. Fun facts:

Blum is third in TOI tonight behind only Weber and Suter. I like that a lot.
Tootoo-Spaling-Dumont barely has seen the ice tonight.
Franson has the least TOI of any D man. Probably a good thing tonight....

Using your word, it's foolish to make some blanket statement that the "playoffs ain't happening this season" when you're basing this off of such a small sample size.

Pro tip: If you don't want to seem foolish, then don't use the grammar of a schoolchild.

no im not basing it on one small sample size. Its been the same thing the whole year, inconsistency and the lack of scoring. With the inconsistency, injuries, and lack of scoring that we have had ALL SEASON I dont see us making the playoffs. Cool pro tip man, what are you pro in?

I guess what I don't understand is that it's been this way all season, and almost all season we have been in a playoff position. Why is this suddenly going to change? Do you know something the rest of us don't?

We have been an extremely streaky team... win 5 lose 5... all season long. Look at the bright side. If we beat Dallas on Saturday then Columbus @ home = win usually then the oilers... so easily could spark a 3 game win streak (A bit pessimistic about Vancouver & Calgary). The time to panic is not now. Every game is important but we still can drop a few and make the playoffs.

He's just probably pissed about losing. I am too, I don't blame him.

Plus, he's being a pessimist. Great thing about being a pessimist is, if you're right, you're not surprised. If you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised!

That's 3 in a row....Blum played like a seasoned pro ....he was amazing. He has it ...we better not trade him. He has that hockey instinct that can't be taught....Lines had no chemistry whatsover. Fisher is not connecting with any line. Sully is invisible until he gives the puck away. Suter is superstar defenseman and you can tell that he was not at his best health wise but he is so smooth. Legwand a terrible pass that led to the breakaway goal by Hossa. We can't score...it's pitiful. There better be a trade in the works...or is this just another injury year....and no playoffs.

We've come back from every single losing streak so far this year. I don't see why I need to flip out about another one right now.

Why are we loosing?
Why did we trade for Fisher? Because we have problems!!!! on Offense There's no guarante that we'll snap out of this.....
