Who gives a **** if he's not doing anything with it?
Fourth in team forward scoring. Third winger. I'd say he's far from the biggest problem on the team. Why JM split up ATM line when it showed no signs of slowing down is beyond me.
Must be the bandwaggon thing, since Simmonds scored his first career two goal game last night. By the way he hadnt scored since Jan 10...Wonder how that would go over on l'antijambre !!
OK, good thing that PG doesn't see it the same way you guys do. Because we would trade Cammy for Schenn and Simmonds.
Not sure about you, but it would be a steal for us. Wasn't it you who said you would move PK to make room for Bogosian? Everyone has their own opinions
Schenn would be the main piece in that deal. Cammy is never going to reach 80 points again, especially not in Montreal. Schenn could be sold for a King's ransom too, or at the very least make one of our centers tradeable. It also frees enough cap space to go after a bigger/does more when he doesn't have the puck winger in the off season.

Actually the 2nd time this year, which Andrei the most talented player in the world has only done once, keep trying harder ....

Can you imagine at Christmas time in the Schenn household. Two brothers playing for the two most storied Canadian teams. The younger Schenn telling his parents at least I play on a playoff team. A fight would break out, kitchen table flying and the mom having to grab both of them by the ears and send them into their old rooms to cool down.

Would be funny if Mom was a Habs fan and Dad was a Leafs fan or vice versa. Not a great Christmas after all

Wouldn't it be even crazier if Luke pulled a Komisarek?

So Schenn, who's never done anything in the NHL is worth more than Cammy, a proven 30+ goal scorer? I think you were Milbury in a past life.
Hmmm conversation is a lot better when posters aren't insulting and attacking each other.
And I think we're trading Kost for a 4th rounder
Just my gut feeling, not trying to spread a rumour.
I see that as a "seller" metality move. Habs are not sellers, nor ar they desperate to move Kostitsyn out like that. At most, he'll be a piece to a 2-3 person/pick package for someone.
So Couturier, who's never done anything in the NHL is worth more than Gionta, a proven 25+ goal scorer. I think you were Gainey in a past life.
Shenn has 1 career NHL goal and you want to trade our best goal scorer for potential? I'll take a proven player over an unknown player almost everyday of the week, Cammy being one of them. Shenn hasn't done squat at the NHL level. As for the Gainey comment, well what can I say. He's a multiple Cup Champion, Hall of Famer and one of the most respected men in all of hockey, thanks for the compliment

Now here is officially your first bonafide Habs rumor of the summer.. The Canadiens are going to be aggressive this summer. The Canadiens aren't that far off of being a true contender as they have several key pieces in place, but Brooks Laich is one player who fits a few needs and I am hearing Brooks may be the Habs chief target this summer.
The above would make me a very happy Habs fan!
He's exactly what this team needs. Size and skill down the middle! Can play a shut down role and still score 15-20 goals!
If Montreal could somehow move Gomez that would be nice too. Gomez Desharnais and Montreal's first for Hanzal?
