HELLLLLLLLLL NO from the Ducks.

If we're giving up that much it's going to be for someone much better then Macarthur.

MacArthur is much more unproven than Beauchemin. This is MacArthur's break out season and nobody knows if he's going to be able to keep up this pace. If he keeps up this kind of scoring pace over a few more years then he'll have the same value as a guy like Beauchemin, but right now I don't see him getting a lot back from a trade.

MacArthur should take whatever monetary value he can in a one year deal and hope that he gets a long term deal after that. Similar to Moulson.

Macarthur is also 25 whereas Beauchemin hasn't looked the same since his knee injury. His proven performance is from 3-4 years ago.

That is way too much for MacArthur.

Ducks say no thanks.

Hmmm

A lot to give up for the Ducks. I think the mgmt is hoping Holland will be the next 2nd line centre although there are many questions about that. Plus the 1st rounder is just too much.

If the Ducks give up that it has to be for a #2 C. Mac is good but I just don't think Murph would do that.

Isn't Holland a former first rounder? There is no way in hell Macarthur is worth two firsts. A late first with minor additions at best.

That deal makes me wish for the Ryan proposals again. That's how bad this one is

Leafers just wait it out, just 3 more days and we will find out what MacArthur is worth.

We will re-sign him or deal him. We will find out what he is worth, no need to argue and guess with other fan bases.

Roger a like you and all because you are a smart poster. But claiming the Leafs got a good deal in trading Beauchemin does not prove the Leafs will get a good deal for all their players.

Just give it time. (3 days in fact and we will find out)

Even as a Leafs fan, I can't wait for the Deadline to pass. These proposals give me a headache.

Where do I sign?

But really, as it's been said, MacArthur won't command that much.

It's really no different after the deadline. All the proposals just have the prefix Draft Day.

It never ends.

A) I am not a Leaf's fan.

B) I made this proposal from the point of view of the TML's. If they are going to trade Macarthur I think this is the type of package they would look for, and quite frankly I think someone might pay close to this. Macarthur is having a breakout year, and I think it will continue.

Perhaps I should have made the title "Value of"

But we also had to take on a reclaimation project in Lupul to take that good of a prospect.

With Hillier having vertigo like symptoms I don't see Anahiem going for another big trade this year.

Based on what? Have a look at what a his entire career... And a couple of those were pretty good Buffalo teams. Pretty sad.

This guy reeks of Horcoff/Redden/Huet... One good season, fat contract and COAST!!!

Not to mention he's a whiner - "Stop throwing waffles, *SOB* It's not funny... *SOB*"

Holland is Murray's first draft pick. He's not as likely to move him as former Burke draft picks, such as Gardiner, Mikkelson, MacMillan, etc. Mitera or Deschamps are probably the highest-regarded Burke draft pick left.

I think you would be pissed if someone threw waffles at you too. To be frank, you should probably wait until you're mature enough to try to understand Clarke's point of view.

The Ducks laugh, then proceed to be pissed when they find out you're serious, stomp on the phone and flush in down the toilet.

In other words, no.
