Take out either Brown or Schenn from LA along with new Jersey's 1st and I'd do it as a Kings fan.

I can't see how NJ fans don't think this is one is fair value. They get a young top 6er with a great contract, plus he's from the area. #1 goalie of the future. Two good russian prospects who are nhl ready.

So they take him off then trade him... whats so hard about that? He can be taken off anytime they want at this point.

it would have to be for a signed Parise. No way they would do that and have him walk.

If you want to find a deal between LA and NJ, take out Parise and work from there.

How about Zubrus + Urbom + 1st for Kopitar? You guys get a top 6 guy, a D prospect, and a pick for a superstar. Sound fair?

Didn't think so.

I would be willing to bet a very large amount that Parise will be playing for the Devils next year. Only reason he would be moved is because he would make it clear he wouldn't stay as a UFA and he would ensure he would become UFA as soon as possible. Obviously then Lamoriello have no option. But does Parise strike you as that kind of guy?

This does it if you ask me...and I'm no fan of either team. L.A. fans might think this is too much but you gotta overpay to get a top notch player like Parise...Brown's a 60 pts producer with great leadership and on a good contract, Schenn's a blue chip (but unproven) prospect, Bernier's a great young goaltending prospect (but also unproven) but goalies value went down big time in the past few years and the market is filled with goalies ready to breakout if given the chance...and Loktionov rounds it up nicely.

The value is fair...if every single player from L.A. reaches full potentiel, its advantage New Jersey...but when you talk about prospects, it's so hard to figure what will happen in 5 years from now.

New Jersey gets a potentially great replacement for Brodeur, a great and affordable winger fpor their top 6 in Brown, their potential number 1 center in Schenn and Loktionov could also become a top 6 talent allthough he,s clearly not in the same category as the others involved. L.A. gets a top notch left winger that very young and that hasn,t even reached his prime and a very good back up goaltender.

Win/win.

Guys, didn't you get the memo that you're actually not allowed to put Brayden Schenn's name in a trade proposal thread?
