The good: Almost everyone. Hank getting his 8th.
The bad: Feds out again. Steps might be suspended.
The redden: Consistency. Do this again.

No Gaborik?
No Staal?
No Problem.

I voted for McDonagh. I don't think he was the best player in the game, but I appreciate he had an impossible job with some huge shoes to fill. That first OV rush on him where he took the penalty was a crash course in what it's like to be in the big time. He took the hook, which was the right play, but he didn't let it happen again. I'm proud of the kid. Same goes for Sauer. It was all doom and gloom here pre game, and rightfully so. It sure smelled like blood in the water for the Caps. I'll give EC props because he was great tonight, but man I just can't even explain how impressed I continue to be by these young Dmen.

Great win the entire team played well. Sauer and Callahan made great passes on those two goals. Glad to see Eminger score a goal. Maybe Torts takes out Girlroy now.

Wow. I'm almost speechless. I could get used to this. Passes clicked. Power plays worked. Shots were elevated. More than 3 goals. It was like watching the bizarro Rangers.

POTG - EC
HM: Stepan, Lundqvist, McD, Sauer, and Boyle.

Good - For the first time in a long time, there could be more than one POTG. And we got two points.

Bad - Feds being hurt and Stepan possibly being fined/suspended?

Redden - None. This game was awesome, nothing to complain about.

LGR!

The Good was just about everything. A shutout is great but 4 points from EC gets the nod from me, since I like the kid.

The bad was Feds re-injuring his shoulder, and the amount of penalties that we took.

The Redden is Stepan's looming suspension. Very unfortunate.

Dude I've been doing this for a long time.

Player of the Game
Henrik Lundqvist - when your goalie puts up 35 saves, he's your PotG.

The Good
Erik Christensen - where have you been my whole life?
Ryan McDonagh - looking comfortable on the top pairing.
Michael Sauer - kid has some balls.
Derek Stepan - LOL, Green.

The Bad
Ruslan Fedotenko - stop getting hurt, buddy.

The Redden
My own rules preclude me from awarding multiple PotG! Drat!

Now I want some kind of confirmation that I'm not just seeing things due to a massive mountain dew induced caffeine rush. That really just happened right?

Agreed, he plays good eventhough he dosn't get the points.
Im a little surprised seeing someone calling him snakebitten. He is getting calmer on the PP and making great passes. Good to see him grow into the pace of the game. Points are good, but setting others up for points is just as good. Zucc!
