I was against bringing McCabe here, but this deal is a good one. Way to go Glen!

McCabe is not a PP quarterback. He's more similar to Kotalik . . . he's a point shot.

Nonetheless, for Kennedy and a 3rd? Really? Sather does it, again. Great return for Kennedy and a 3rd when considering what other d-men are going for.

Wasn't opposed to bringing in McCabe. At this price, it's hard to argue against it.

I'm 99% certain that Kennedy is now waiver-exempt if Florida wants to recall him.

Hey relocated ranger fan now panther sth. With McCabe you'l get a perfect rental.. solid pp quaterback ...not the best dman at all and getting a little long in tooth. Very loyal team man and great on bench and locker room...

I love this trade. A 3rd round pick plus Kennedy (who probably wouldn't have cleared re-entry waivers either) is a great deal.

Guess that's not a bad deal after all.

Del Zotto back to Connecticut now, I'd think.

Supposedly McCabe was only willing to waive his NTC for NYR, hence the fleece job.

Why would Kennedy be waiver exempt? He isn't. However, with the waiver wires being very full, it might be much easier to bring him with more attractive players on the wire.

If someone could just lock Slats in a closet on July 1st.

The other 364 days I like the guy.

That said. Let Glenn out for just a minute to sign B. Richards. Then LOCK IS ASS BACK UP!
