We've reasoned its no-mans land.

take it for what its worth but in the daily news, maloney says...

"It would have been nice to start out with No. 87, but hey," Maloney said, referring to Crosby's jersey number. "The way they set up the draft, if we weren't going to be in the top five, I really believe this is a good place to be."
What does "the way they set up the draft" mean? Sure he says its good now, but did anyone see the way he grit his teeth when our logo was attached to the 16th pick, damn.

Actually I can suggest keeping an eye out for Ryan Parent. FLA and Mike Keenan are said to have GREAT interest in him and if he falls to our pick they could be a potential trading partners.

Would you do 16th for 29th and 32nd?

I'd like that one.

I think he means the snake draft style of the draft (1-30, 30-1)

from that comment it sounds to me like he has a guy in mind that he thinks will be there at 16 that is around 6-8 on his list

But that makes us still in the middle of each round.

Yes, thats what I've been saying. We're bound to get someone at 16 that NYR had in their top 10. Just like Korpikoski and Tyutin. Now who that guy is, I have no idea.

Could be a possibility. Throw in a 2nd rounder for next year (Florida that is) and we have a done deal.
