I'm patient. They're setting up the team for next year. Hopefully we'll be stronger then.

I guess we still have a shot this season. Maybe they will ride a hot goalie and score just enough.

We just need a few bounces. We need a few players to get back their jump. (That was my best Trotzian speak.)

Pretty good, but you need to add "resilient" in there somewhere.

The frustrating thing about the Chicago game was that we did have a number of quality chances, but nothing would fall.

We certainly better get it together or we're going to play ourselves right out of the playoffs.

I am in the pessimistic camp. No panic and not really alot of patience either. Just beyond being frustrated. Everyone else in the West is playing better than we are. I don't want a rental. Give the kids in Milw some games let them get some experience and start looking towards next year.

9th is the same as 6th to a dyslexic standing on his head. Just saying.

The Geoffrion and Halischuk callups have to be a temporary measure. Looking at the roster, we needed at least one more forward to fill out the starting twelve. The type of space clearance in the form of cap, contracts, and roster spots just don't match up with calling up two unproven players from the AHL who are both not exposed to waivers and on two way deals.

Agree, agree, agree. No need to waive Belak and Svatos at those particular times or suddenly wake up to Sully's horrific play. Or dump Sulzer (at least until the two weekend games were complete).

Two cups of coffee for one or both of them, barring injury or hat trick.

I guess as a fan, I'd feel better about the losing( no , not really) if Rinne wasn't having shots taken at him with no retaliation, etc.............all of the above examples.

Frankly, I was ready for Weber to take someone on and go sit in the bad boy's box for 5.................just to show the team they need to have each others back.
Perhaps because the player engaged will wind up like the one on the ice? Sometimes, stepping back is the way to go. Beating up on the guy and getting another penalty does no one any good.

But! sometimes you have to show leadership and the team won't mind to try and kill off a penalty if it makes a true statement and this would have showed that we can't be pushed around. We needed something to ignite us and it wasn't there

We'd just draft another puck moving defenseman and develop him for 5 years before Trotz will play him.

Yeah I'd rather have Fisher than a defensive minded prospect that might turn into a mediocre player 5 years from now.

Unless we're drafting top 5, it's a complete crapshoot

I don't think it would negate all the progress, but it would be a set back.

Pretty safe to say----the Preds season is done.

IMO---we need to get 30 points in the next 20 games to make the PO's.

It won't happen.Too many injuries and not enough goal scorers.SOSO.

Lindback is in Milwaukee. It's either Rinne or Dekanich.

I'd imagine Rinne gets basically all of the starts for the rest of the season. Unless he's hurt, sick, or too exhausted to play Trotz will be riding Rinne until we're out of it

Agreed. Pekka is our clear cut No. 1 and will have to literally ask for a night off or be downright awful before Trotz pulls him at this point. Dex might see time in relief if a game is out of hand, but I don't think he gets a start right now...

Dex won't stay long. Lindback will be back soon. One of them will be gone next year, probably Dex.

Blum isn't ready for the NHL. Maybe next season. You guys in Nashville will see it in about two weeks as the mistakes start to pile up. As good as he is, he still has some holes in his game. Playing 20 more games in the AHL and some playoffs with Josi will help both of them develop.

I don't think the fanbase expects Blum to be some savior. I know he's a young guy who will struggle at times. I mean today he looked average and was on the ice for all 3 goals against but I wouldn't say he was the only cause for any of them.

Klein, Franson and SOB all make mistakes pretty much nightly so even though Blum has lots to work on he will be a fine fill in until Cube comes back.
