So I'm Going to the Flyers Wives' Carnival

I'm almost embarrassed to say, that while I'm 30 years old, I'm going to my first Flyers Wives Carnival this year. So of course, I need to rattle off a few really dumb questions:
  • I bought tickets for a photo with Pronger, and a picture with the Stanley Cup. Do they have a photographer take your picture, or are you expected to bring your camera and take your own photo? If the former, do they then make you pay for the actual print?
  • I also purchased a ticket for a Giroux autograph. I assume it's commonplace to have one's jersey signed? Am I to bring my own sharpie? haha
  • How well do they stick to the time intervals that you purchase for? For example, if I have a ticket for one photo at 2:00 and another at 2:30, am I cutting it close?

Thanks in advance!

I also have a ? about the carnival

when they say a picture with Stanley Cup or (Insert Player Here) does that mean only one person in the photo with 1 ticket or if i want to have me, my wife, my son in a picture with Stanley Cup I have to buy 3 tickets... same for players me, wife, son with Birere for example do i need 3 photo tickets or will they let all 3 hop in on one ticket?

same with autographs 1 ticket means 1 thing or can i bring 2 things?

I believe it's:

1 autograph for ONE item for ONE ticket.

1 person in the photo for ONE ticket. Anyone else needs to have a ticket purchased for them.

All players have their own sharpies, but if you want something black signed and you need a sliver sharpie, might want to bring that.

And for cutting it close, you'd be fine. It goes pretty quick, you can't really miss it. A photographer takes your picture and you get the print. This was a few years ago, don't think they could have changed it since then...

Dave, I'm older than you and never been to the Carnival.
But definitely, if you are getting a black jersey signed somewhere other than a number, or getting a puck signed, bring a silver Sharpie.
We're the table heroes when we go to Meet the Team and have pucks signed. I'll bring 6-8 silver Sharpies because the players will ask to keep using them.
And, yeah. My understanding from friends that have gone is that it is one person, place or thing for one ticket.

I really want to go this year as well. Do tickets usually sell out? Trying to decide if I should get them now or what.

I can tell you certain player time slots have already sold out (i.e. Mike Richards autographs or photos - don't remember which) were pretty much gone for all his available times.

Tickets for the overall event though... probably be tough to sell that out since they don't necessarily have a capacity maximum.

I'm going too, with a friend. It's my first time and I haven't bought any tickets for autographs or pictures, I'm guessing that we'll just wander around trying to get autographs/pics from whomever we run into.

I'm doing the same thing.

I'm hoping to just show up, buy some tickets at the door, and hopefully get some pictures.

What are the odds of getting a picture with someone like Richards or Pronger if you didn't buy ticket to the photo event?

And what else is offered?

odds of meeting richards & pronger w/o prior ticket buying slim to none...

they are both ONLY doing auto & photo sessions no wii games no xbox game NOTHING!

so your only chance to meet them w/o having a ticket is stalk outside of the sections that they are in around the times they are leaving them..

There's still tickets available. I don't remember off the top of my head tickets still available on the day of the event.
