Important not to have a let down game here.

Not only have these guys beat us 3 straight, but they are a very possible playoff opponent if and when we get there. We need to take advantage of our confidence and score plenty of goals on a club that has allowed on average over 3 a game this season.

Also, stay out of the frekkin box. Cannot stress that enough.

A huge win here would keep us close to WSH, Breath down MTL's turtle neck and give us more distance from carolina.

Git' er done.

and haven't Eminger-Gilroy paired together this season? I recall Eminger playing either side but it's noticeable that he's playing his off side when he has to pinch at the point or fight to keep the puck in on his backhand.

If we played like that every night we'd be 98-0 with a stanley cup to boot.

Come on, let's play like we did Friday and build on the good feeling from that game. It would be huge with a win here.

Really need to beat these clowns. Not only for the points, but for the possibility they get them in the first round of the playoffs. Show you can contain them dammit!

Our huge goal eruption games have come on nights the other team did not come prepared to play and got little to no goaltending . Besides OV the caps played unsure out of position hockey .let's hope we cwn stay out of the box , get another solid game from Hank , no unlucky fluky and or soft goals against from weird angles and deflections and mange to try and keep Stammer / St louis off the board . Bolts top 2 lines are very dangerous and even if we matchup against Stamkos and St Louis and manage to contain them limit their chances LeCavalier has looked better lately and can crush us as well . We will be back to our 3-2 games hopefully going our way

Callie & Dubie have to play smart and aggressive today . Boyle has to continue to finish his checks and get to the net as much as possible . We have to get traffic in front of Roloson . Looking forward to McCabe shots...but they will be fruitless unless somebody plants themselves in the slot at every chance on the PP . I would like to see Avery on either Stamkos or St Louis...and get them off their game and maybe suck Downie into a couple of bad PM's .

What's Mc Cabe going to do when MSG yells 'Shoot!' every time he touches the puck? If Mc Cabe doesn't have at least 2 goals in the first period I predict a 'Fire Sather' chant.

Henrik. Coming off a SO to one of the strongest offensive teams in the league (stats withstanding) and probably getting in to win mode for the playoff-push stretch. I think he could be the difference for better or worse in this game.

Caps have been shut out nine times this season. Twice by the Rangers. That team is a mess.
