Option Number 1 is what i am thinking.
Option 1 doesn't work for us. We can't go over the cap midpoint and lose revenue sharing, and we are dangerously close right now. We need to be even or cut salary cap in any deal we make, so Gomez isn't an option. I could see option 2 happening, though.

Just heard on sportsnet talking about Nashville and their interest in MacArthur. I'm not sure if they were talking about a rumor or speculation but they said Dumont + Ellis for MacArthur...

I agree on the part of Dumont vs AK46 is stupid, but Dumont is done IN NASHVILLE. We could try him here. This kind of comment was made for Ray Whitney last year and he's the best forward for the Yotes this year.

If Dumont is Gauthier's idea of a power forward for our top 6, he's got something coming...

Is Gomez's cap hit the same as real money owed? Nashville doesn't spend to the cap so that wouldn't be an issue, but what is the real money owed?

Dumont and Gomez and a 3rd?

Weber's raise will be accounted for with Sullivan coming off the books.

True, 17.5M$ of actual money vs 22M$ of cap money. 3 years left.

Dumont hasn't been the same player since his concussion versus Vancouver last year (Burrows hit I believe?). His foot speed isn't there and he's shying from contact. That being said, he's been a professional given the situation and his ice time. And he's been great in the community. If he is traded, wish him all the best. He doesn't fit in on the team right now.

I spoke with a team source after the game today that spoke directly to Poile. Poile has not and will not ask Dumont to waive his NMC. I'd be very surprised to see him moved, although I really wish he was...

If Nashville wants to include Franson ... I'll consider it.

This was debunked as well by Lebrun in speaking with Poile - nothing doing on the Preds side.

Twice in less than 72 hours that Renaud Lavoie sends out information that is erroneous. He is not as reliable as some would like to make out, and I was one of them up until a few months ago when he speculated that Markov's injury wasn't as serious, and speculated that Pacioretty would be out weeks with a rib injury.

Pas fort mon pot.....

This wasn't Renaud Lavoie's fault... Renaud only said that Dumont would waive his NTC to go to Montréal if he was asked to.
