Fans whine and cry because we don't get any player. They assume tradedeadline is some entertainment event where the management must satisfy our desires for a show.
A lot of teams will try to make moves tomorrow, some will, a lot won't. Sometimes it's just not worth making a trade no matter how much the fans want to see one.
I'd rather have zero trades than having one for the sake of like the Dumont rumors.
Not that I agree with all the whining and moaning, but pro sports has always been about providing entertainment. It is an entertainment business after all, it's all about selling tickets, and just like movies, fans want excitement.
Talen has said many times Weiss is going nowhere, and even if someone blew him away with an offer a good center would have to come back in the trade to replace him, so I don't even know how we could make a deal for Weiss
