Tuebert isnt an asset I'm going to be upset to see go. If he brings something worthwhile back, it makes the MC trade slighlty more palatable. Only slightly

If we could get Penner for less, then that would be sweet. Maybe a weaker roster player but a better prospect than Teubert...say Voynov?

The problem with Simmonds is that, if you feel he will be a 20 goal scorer, then you don't want to move him for a guy like Hemsky. Hemsky obviously has more talent but, as discussed by TSN, he should have 30 goals and not 18 or 20.

If I am Edmonton and don't feel like either of those guys will want to re-sign next season, I don't get hung up on getting a roster player of Simmonds caliber back: I want multiple prospects and top picks. 1st rounder for sure and then Martinez Voynov,Moller etc..maybe a 2nd rounder next year as well.

Depends on the prospect, but that's a steep price, Hemsky is no Hossa even though I'd love him on the team.

So would I. I'd hate to lose Simmer but couldn't really care less about losing Teubert. Trading 1st round picks is always a gamble but if you're going to gamble, you might as well do it in a year that's considered pretty weak by everyone.

Love Hemsky, but Simmonds makes it a no-go for me. Losing Wayne makes us much softer upfront.

NHL Network is really pining for the Kings to make a move Hilarious. They need us for ratings, and to have purpose in life.

Problem I see is that Hemsky is a RW, so Simmonds would almost have to go to open a spot.

Id do it.

Some of the trade proposals ive been reading from Oil fan over the past few days have been some of the funniest things ive read on the interwebs in years. Stuff like "Doughty, Schenn and a pick for Hemsky" and my personal fave, "Doughty, JMFJ and Bernier for Hemsky and a pick". I dont want today to end. I need more humor in my life.

I would move Clifford before Simmonds. If we acquire Hemsky Brown is moving to LW anyway, so he fills the gap.

At least Duthie gets it. There's no reason to move Bernier now.

the longer no trades happen the sillier the topics will becomes. guys start to get 'slap happy' also and go off on tangents. i watch the NFL draft from top to bottom and dudes start losing it, especially when they are just re-hashing the same topics
