Well, I mean I guess it was a successfulish deadline day for CBJ. Still don't like how the day went though, but not surprised.

Not thrilled about that one, but I guess Niles had to get his minor-league trade itch scratched this year.

Arnott to Washington for Steckel.
Fragile Freddy is a Flame...E-I-E-I-O
...even NHL Network's ripping his injury history.

CBJ trades Tom Sestito to NYR for Greg Moore and Michael Chaput. Minor-league transaction.
I THINK his attitude was a problem.

WHAT is GMSH's obsession with Greg Moore? This is his second tour of duty with the CBJ.
Sestito gone...makes it worse.

Clearly there was something subjective that CBJ did not like about Sestito. Speaking for myself, I thought it was desirable to have a physically large, psychopathic personality on the roster in the NHL.

I think he had an attitude peoblem as well. I removed him from twitter because he was always *****ing about not getting a fair shake or he was putting in stupid jokes about going up. Came across as a whiner to me.

Chaput has a shot and this is another good deal.

Yep, his tweets were what I was talking about. That is why I said I THINK. It is hard to tell what a person is really like on twitter, but clearly there was something the CBJ didn't like. Also, Chaput looks like a decent C prospect.

I agree, on his twitter he definitely did not act like a professional.

You do what you have to do. I just think you should think about these trades for a little bit before you act like they are the worst trades ever.

I really liked Sestito. Guessing he had an attitude problem too. Glad we kept our first as insurance for the draft.

I am happy with today's developments. This was about the most we could hope for. His moves today were good.
I think we could have done more without hurting the franchise, but that's another story that I'm sure we'll get back to in the off season.
I'm not sure about Sestito, but I'll leave that up to Howson and Arniel. There is obviously more to that story.

I thought it was particularly over the top when Sestito started getting political with his twitter comments about Obama.

I liked Sestito because he wasn't afraid to get down and dirty. We will see how this trade works out in the ling run. And if you recall i liked the Rusty trade
