Can we still pick up a player that cleared waivers like Zheredev?

Dawes--Pleky---Cammy
MaxPac--Gomez--Gionta
Zheredev---Eller---Kostitsyn?
Pools---DD--Halpern

So White traveled with the team to Atlanta and then gets sent down? Sucks for him..

With White being sent down is they someone returning from injury or someone coming up?

This. I don't know why everyone's so bent out of shape. Darche was better on that line anyway, so I'd rather have him back with Pouliot/Desharnais than White when Darche is healthy again.

I haven't seen a lot of cheap shots since White has been here. Not that he is a heavyweight, but he brings a little respect to the ice level.

Just to clarify guys: White has been called back up.

The move was done because Drew MacIntyre was on Atlanta's NHL roster (recalled to back-up due to injuries). So to acquire him, we needed to clear a spot on our NHL roster which was at 23.

So - White, goes to 22. + MacIntyre, 23. MacIntyre sent to Hamilton, 22. White called back up, 23.

Just a technicality, though I believe it does eat up one of our post-deadline call ups. But really, who else are we going to be calling up?! *Maybe* Dawes and a d-man (Nash / Carle / Henry). No worries at all.

I'm starting to think that sending White was just to say that Gauthier did something, probably after another failed trade.

Red-Tape. You'd think they could have communicated that to HIO or someone on the trip.

Habs-Communication? Not our motto.

You really think the other team is coming into the game thinking: "Oh no, Ryan White is playing... better be nice to the Habs tonight!". Really?

So, is he still with the Habs or he's really going to Hamilton?

Well since White has been called back up. There's no more need for this thread.

White Recalled due to a failed trade.

http://twitter.com/#!/renhockey

Gauthier sent down White to make space for a forward but he didn`t get the forward so he called him back up.

I'm willing to bet that White wasn't going to be part of the trade

I'm positive it was for Arnott, and Habs were certain they outbid the Caps, but Caps threw a curve ball with the 2nd and PG pulled out.
