I'm looking for a good prospect with NHL potential who can stay healthy, not a BFF. The best player in the world isn't very useful on the sidelines.

Nah, it seems that Cyncyssyyn is the most likely answer.

that Springfield(Sestito former AHL club) wasnt/isnt a offensive gifted team. Take it from someone whos seen them. As far as this trade goes, typical Holmgren trading for someone who can throw down and will rack up a billion PIMS.
yay. color me not impressed. Sestito does nothing for me. at all.

Me likeyy.

By they way... shouldn't this be nothing but good news to all Rinaldo haters? Sestito will step right in front of Zac in depth chart.

Sorry but he won't not on this team. Our top 2 probably 3 Center positions are locked for the next 10+ years. To me it seems it would tunr into another Patrick Sharpe deal where the guy has all the talent int he world stuck on the 4th line of a deep team that would never be able to give him a chance sure maybe he does well for the Blue Jackets i the future bnut do you really think hed get the oppurtunity here
Better check again. The most offensive league in Canadian Junior Hockey right now is the WHL, followed by the OHL. The QMJHL isn't the offensive league that it used to be at one time.

And yes, Chaput would have been a player on this team within the next 3 years. His faceoff skills are top notch, his defensive skils are excellent and he was beginning to round out his offensive game that started in the 2nd half of last year when he was a 17 year old. That's why I'm mad. Chaput was developing nicely into a very solid hockey with well rounded skills.

All what Sestito has shown is that he's big and he can throw down. Big deal he scored 60 points in junior. Dan Carcillo also scored 60 points in junior and was a 20 goal scorer in the AHL. How many people on here would give up their top prospect for him? This was a bad trade because Sestito wasn't a need. He was a want and luxury that the Flyers could ill afford. I bet Sestito doesn't make the roster next year either......

I thought we were talking about a different C-word. Four letters. One vowel. Unpleasant.

Well ADK is not that offensively gifted and he is now #2 or so on that team so even if he is not all that great he still (at least at the moment) is among the tops in points for our farm club.

It's funnier because he left the Islanders out of it.

This was a good move in my opinion......Good sized gritty tough guy who can reek havoc in front of the net and has some pretty good hands to boot ! And he can also drop em when need be ! Nice kind of player to have on the farm when the need arises.

I wonder that nobody came up with a Maroon comparison yet ...

Big guy, decent skating (at best), good hands, similar age, similar stats (Sestito: 46GP -11G -30P, Maroon: 37GP -13G - 24P) ... but Sestito can fight as well.

He is probably the player Holmgren hoped Klotz would develop in.

Obviously, "adjectives that can be mistaken for proper names" is a dicey subject around here, to be perfectly frank.

Yeah I thought of that. I think his skating is better than Maroon's though (not saying much)
