Watching the replay it is impossible to say if it hits Kopi on the boards or just trickles by him.

So after tomorrow if all the teams below us win are we still in the playoffs? I thought tonight was a must win to stay in the hunt. We might be out by the time Thursday rolls around.

Not sure why I stayed to the end of That game.

Just a bad loss to a great team. Moving on... but not before I say,

**** Helm. The newest of all King killers. May Lewis become the player That he is.

Games vs the Wings are always so weird.

Datsyuk was a beast tonight.

Can't win em all, I guess, though it would have been nice to win a game vs. a great team ahead of us. Hope the team keeps it rolling for the next several important games!

I wonder if Terry Murray watches Sportscenter. They just highlighted Glass Jarret's wonderful contributions to tonight's game.

Thursday is going to be huge boys.

Just saw this as well,

Loktionov, obviously. Sorry for the misspell. Loktionov will have a surgery, probably this week.

Can you imagine if our skilled players had the red wings pp coach. Jebus their pp was everything I wish the kings pp would be, so much movoement, deception, and trickery.

Yup - Dustin Penner would have been the difference tonight! This was a nice reality check about how far away this team is. Oiler fans must be looking forward to a top 15 pick courtesy of LA. Lovely.

Not a fan of Jamie Kompon and Terry Murray's shot first mentality?

Go back and look at our PP vs. Vancouver last year and how well they moved the puck around and what kind of chances they created, it's just mind boggling how they have gotten away from that to what we have now.

Kompon needs to be replaced, like I said in the GDT his main job is the PP and it's been an utter failure. I will miss his interviews though. He is the NHL's version of Baghdad Bob.

Definitely agree but well our skill guys are also not Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, and Holmstrom! It definitely makes a big difference!

Yeah, that was painful. I don't understand how someone who skates as hard as Stoll takes some many bad stick penalties...

Well they also don't use 3rd line players like Stoll and Handzus on the PP. I think if we had Williams and JJ instead of those two we would be better to.

If Kompon were in Detroit he would probably be running the PP through Dan Cleary.

Our PP would probably improve if Stoll could hit the yet. Until then putting him back on the 1st unit is stupid.

Probably wouldn't make a difference though since Kompon is a few fries short of a happy meal.

Left right before the 2nd period ended and ended up at The Varnish on 6th and Main. Always order the Bartenders choice. Tonight he made a perfect Monte Carlo. That place rocks.

Wasn't surprised to see Dewy out there with Stollie. JJ has been lately, losing the puck on the blue line and he is hesitant to shoot. Hopefully, he shakes it off.

Yeah I've noticed JJ and DD both seem to be having trouble keeping the puck in the zone as well.
