We could pick up a #7 on waivers with Hendry potentially to LTIR.

Now that Seabs has his money, we're going to have to take harder looks at bargain bin players like Hendry.
If he wants to take the league minimum I say why not bring him back on a 1 year deal as a 7th defenseman? Maybe you can make it a 2 way deal in case he's not back from the injury.

I would be fine with this.

The thing that's the most concerning is that Hendry has some speed.

Jordan isn't physical, he skates away from pressure. He doesn't make a play and take a hit.

There wont be alot of options on waivers going forward

Teams that suck are just gonna keep there bad players and go for best pick

Good teams are pretty well set

Likely will be Cullimore back up for rest of year as #7

Sorry to hear this, hope he fully recovers. He's probably gone from the Hawks after the season but will always be a hero for being on the Cup winning team. Wish him all the best in the future!

Jordan is a classy guy. You never heard him complain about being at forward or getting scratched at defense.

Good luck in the future, Jordan, whether it's back here in Chicago or for another NHL franchise.

And not sure if it was mentioned but anyone we pick up off waivers wouldn't be allowed to play for us in playoffs

Yikes, he sure did look like he was in a lot of pain last night, though. Best of luck and a speedy recovery for Hendry.

Too bad for Hendry, but I'd say this is the end of the road for him with the Hawks. Vish is the next guy in line and isn't getting any younger. I think he should get a role with this team as a #7. Would also help our team more in practice than Cullimore or some other pylon.
