contestants that end up on stage are pre-determined (through interviews beforehand)

so you better blow them away during the interview

Recommend a playoff pool online

Hi All!
I am very interested in joining an NHL playoff pool for fun, no money involved.
Can anyone recommend a good site, similar to the yahoo fantasy? With drafts, etc.
I am in 2 regular season pools via Yahoo but once the season is done they don't do any playoffs

This is my first year using poolexpert, I really like it. I have no idea about playoff pools though.

OT: Duke Snider, 1926-2011, R.I.P.

What a great ballpayer, what a classy, classy man and what a great facility he had to give radio listeners a real feel for the game!

The Duke will be sorely missed.

I'm Back

Mods, feel free to move this to an appropriate thread.

Now I know some of you have been thinking:
-What happened to HABit?
-Why is there no more funny in my life?
-Who killed pac and biggie?
-Will we ever be contenders?

I know that while I was...on a leave of absence for 2 months from HF that many of you have basically pursued new careers, made life changes and maybe even made a real commitment outside of HF. At first the symptoms may have been synonymous when withdrawing from a strong drug:
-Shaking
-Scratching
-Fear

I know, I know...you all felt like leafs fans for awhile, I'm sorry. But now your Serious Habit is back.

I'm not bitter about losing the mod campaign to overlords, because well...I'm not a bitter person but just remember that I have a good memory and so does Beaker, my campaign manager.

In any case I know you all probably prepared a large ceremony for me or maybe some of you weren't even expecting this wonderful turn of events. Either way, I understand if some of you start referring to me as Hemsky, because my return should fill that empty void left by PG at the deadline yesterday.

tldr version: I'm back.

TV show 19-2 on Radio-Canada

After five episodes, what is everybody verdict on the newest Podz production? Having never watched his previous work C.A or Minuit, le soir I have been pleasantely surprised by 19-2. It's quality work, especially visually. Claude Legault is the best actor in Québec, period. His scene with his dad last episode was just incredible. My only problem with the series is the way it portrays the majority of the policers... it seems like they are all unhealthy mentally...

For those who are interested, Radio-Canada is airing the show on wednesday at 9 o'clock.

Actors are great.
Production value is top notch.
Character development is fantastic.

But I have a really hard time with it. I find it completely unbelievable for a series that wants to be realistic. The amount of action the policemen get rivals Jack Bauer's day job. Normal officers would get multiple weeks leave after some of the **** they went through. Plus, there is not a single character without a major flaw/characteristic.

I don't want to go in detail as I might spoil some of the story line, but I don't get why it's getting so much praise and so little criticism.

Just discovered it won't be back next year. http://lejournaldequebec.canoe.ca/jo...02-192525.html

(It's from Quebecor, though, a direct rival, so let's not take word from it)

Yeah, it's true.

Here's a more credible source with more info on why it's not yet renewed.

They do a horrific job laying the asphalt, so year after year it sags, with the snow machines and the really wet weather, the plow catches a part of it, even small and takes a huge chunk with it. Sauve and Sauriol in my area are unbelievably bad.
