These Trashers are large.

Good match-ups to gauge ourselves against our bigger sized Eastern Conference rivals (B's, Caps, Flyers, etc...)

I just wish we play a solid, disciplined 60 minutes today. I want to see em play as if it was the playoffs.

Everyone should target Maxwell so he can't bust out the hat trick.

Well I wouldn't want to put this great PGT to shame either....haha

I just remembered I have class in 30 minutes though and since I can't do a fast-food version a la Moen In Glory, I'll definitely take up the challenge another day when I have the time to do my first GDT justice.

Yeah...because White is ***k in D unlike Tommy Pyatt. People overrate White's value to this team. He has done nothing to this team, everytime he plays, there is a goal against his line..so I prefer Pyatt who plays really well his position in the defensive end which fit well in our system (speed + defensive play = habs).

People hate Pyatt because of the Gomez affiliation.

Nah, I think it's because he's not good offensively yet has been put in offensive situations before. Pyatt is great at what he does but people expect a lot more out of him, I suppose. White looked very promising in the pre-season as well as in his callup last season. In his recent callup, however, he hasn't been throwing his body around. Until he starts doing that again, I'd just assume have Pyatt playing.

People hate Pyatt because he has the offensive stats of an enforcer, but hes soft as butter. A tough guy in his spot would be an upgrade.

White was sent back down to Hamilton yesterday

From HIO
Ryan White sent to Hamilton
posted by Dave Stubbs at 14h45 EST on Feb 28
So Ryan White was headed somewhere, told not to practice this afternoon in Atlanta before being sent to the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs.

And the Brett Festerling era is over. Acquired from Anaheim in the Maxim Lapierre trade, the defenceman has been dealt to Atlanta for goaltender Drew MacIntyre.

GM Pierre Gauthier will speak to the media around 5 pm ET.

Maxwell scores his 1st goal tonight for sure. Dudley believes in him so much seems that he stated that Maxwell will be playing the next 10 years in the NHL....We'll see who will be right about that. I'm not sure IF the guy doesn't stop playing on the perimeter. Though, maybe with the size Atlanta has, it's his only way to shine. Might not be as scared anymore.

Pyatt is a -6, White is a +3, do you even watch any games?

The reason people dislike Pyatt is because his game is as bland as white tuna. He's a jack of all trades and a king of none.
