Well here we are. First game after the deadline. The team is set from here on out. So until the playoffs are done, there's no point in slaggin Gomez or anyone else. We gotta get behind the guys now and get back into last year's I Believe mode and see where it takes us.

But that's actually a lineup(when fixed of course...lol!) I'd be pretty comfortable with if, and thats a big IF, all the players played up to par with what we know they are capable of... There's no smurf line, DD and MaxPac have played together and Pouliot being on it would put to sizeable fowards giving DD some space to workwith... I like that 4th line...

Just press multi on all the posts you want to quote and then press quote on the last post you're quoting.

Can you imagine a loss tonight in Atlanta, most fans will be going crazy Gauthier this and he should have traded everyone

Pyatt has saved us so many goals against and probably one us games subtly. I don't care if he never scores. Just keep getting the puck out of the zone and deep and skate hard, forecheck, etc. He's so much better than he gets credit for. I like White, and he hasn't been useless, but unless he starts **** disturbing more, I prefer Pyatt. Then again White on the DD-Pouliot line is a good fit. Pyatt isn't competing for that role.

It's so obvious they recalled Maxwell because all the kids always score their first goal in the NHL against the Habs

So i wouldn't be surprised if he had one tonight

Well I would not have minded some moves myself. I am a pretty big critic of the team. It's just that now we are at the point where we have what we have. This is what we go forward with. So I am thinking might as well unite, cheer for these guys, and believe. Believe they will pick it up. Believe Gomez will start playing better. Might as well get behind em.

Some of us dont like softness, some are POed with Gomez, some are POed at Martin.....well whether you like the team or not, we are stuck with it. So let's try to be a positive 7th player from here on out.

When the Habs were down 5-0 in that game vs the Rangers in 2008, I rememeber when Ryder scored goal No. 1. The crowd cheered, as if a comeback were possible. We all felt it that night. So lets do that again.

Absolutely. Complaining holds no weight from here on out. All we can do is hope everyone steps up. Might be kind of refreshing now that I think of it.

A 'jack of all trades' would have SOME sort of offense. Pyatt has none. Put him on a line, you know that line will never produce. Ever. It's also usually true for the other team's line though. He just has a way to... kill play. He gets chances but his ABSOLUTE lack of offensive talent makes him miss all of them.

I don't dislike him that much, but he's in no way a jack of all trades. He's a pure defensive specialist with no physical play. Honestly, that's not in the team's more pressing needs...

Mason confirmed per @ajcthrashers.

Watched a bit of the Leafs/Thrashers game the other day. Atlanta was dreadful in their own zone and the neutral zone. The ice should be wide open for Plekanec, Gionta and Gomez. No reason not to come away from with game without the two points.

Go Habs Go!

This should normally be an easy game, so I'm gonna say 4-0 habs.

And they better win this one..

you're right. only the people who critize every move are the ones with the hockey knowledge, us supportive fans don't know squat. i understand now...
