Buffalo's lines at practice.
Not scared of that first line.

That second line is good though. Especially Stafford.

Nothing official yet but based on this morning’s optional skate, it appears defenseman Marc Staal (twisted left knee) and left wing Ruslan Fedotenko (left shoulder) will not return to the lineup tonight against the Sabres. Staal did not skate and neither did Steve Eminger, who would likely be the healthy scratch if Staal was able to play. And if Eminger wasn’t in the lineup tonight, he would have been at the optional to get some work in.

Meanwhile, Fedotenko stayed on the ice to work with assistant Mike Sullivan and backup goalie Cam Talbot while Kris Newbury came off the ice with the rest of the group. Newbury would be the healthy scratch if Fedotenko was able to return and, had that been the case, Newbury would have stayed on for some extra work with Sullivan. Fedotenko’s issue is that he’s still having some trouble shooting with his stiff shoulder.

Anyone else worried Staal's injury is worse than they're letting on?

No. I think he's day to day and it could be a few more days. No point in bringing him back if he's not at 100%.

Not really. Im sure they would rather make sure their #1 All Star defenseman is fully healthy and sit an extra game or two, rather than rushing him back into the line up too soon and having him get injured even worse and be out for an extended period of time.

I'm still waiting for him to drop the gloves. You know it's going to happen. He's a feisty little guy (aka, an interesting cat).

Anyone know what time I should get there for autographs? And where to go? What about after the game?

I think every injury is a concern. Even if he is better I'm worried he comes back and just easily hurts it again in a game or something.

Unfortunately they have been dealing with this all year with most guys.

Staal and Feds confirmed out. McCabe moves up to pair with Sauer tonight, Gilroy will pair with Eminger per Torts' pre game presser.

EDIT - Was trying to quote Happy Hour on Pat Kaleta

Yep.

4 of his 39 career points (what a player) have come at MSG

God I LOATHE him, hope Prust puts him in his place tonight.

torn between following this game via twitter on my phone while at work or trying to avoid everything so I can watch it on my DVR in the morning when I get out of work...

First, I have no problem watching games on the DVR. I still enjoy it and don't think it detracts from the game.

My main problem is that after having lived in Buffalo for 6 years I'm afraid of people blowing up my phone via texts if anything happens. Ugh... It's way too hard to tell that many people not to text me.

**************!!!!! What do I do?

Either way, we need a big 2 points and hopefully in regulation. I think Hank needs to enter Beast Mode soon...
