Jensen got his 7 game goal and point-streak broken friday night, but bounced back with 1 G 4 A saturday against Ottawa.
He now has 16 p in his last 6 games.
Comments from people that saw the games are much appreciated!
down 5-2 heading into the third against a really good ottawa team, the jensen line (aswell as the first PP unit) took over the game and rallied for a 6-5 regulation win.
The enthusiasm this kid shows when he scores is a great quality, literally jumping for joy and it seems to rub off on his team mates.
If this kid doesnt go top 15 in the draft.....a real good team will get to choose him later in the first. I have a gut feeling he will be playing for a western team. (like nashville or Minni)

People laughed when I said around late October-early November he could be one of the biggest risers of the 1st round. Never deny the possibility a very talented rookie in the CHL starts finding his way in the 2nd half. If this keeps up, and Ottawa finds a way to get out of the lottery I don't doubt the possibility they take him.
Peter Regin's from Herning, Denmark and I've seen a couple interesting mentions of Ottawa's interest in him, one coming from one of our trusted insiders.

Detriot,
also so many contenders in the O this year its scary most years you can predict the finals but this year its going to be hard

If i read it i would not have laughed. He showed the skill; but it seemed like he needed half the year of adjusting to settle in.
However,I figured Lessio would have had more of a second half coming out.
I dont want to take anything away, but you can give some credit to Andy Andreoff. He is a really hard worker out there, seems to open up lots of room for those 2. (Jennsen and Lessio) Andy has had himself quite a year; He could be a decent 3rd/4th line center someday.
Sorry if there are other posts with information but i couldnt find them.
Whats his game like? What does he project like as a player? Anyone have a comparison?
Hopefully someone who has seen him a few times could comment?

i live around oshawa so i watch him as much as possible, he reminds me of jeff carter when he was in the o, thats my 2 cents..

Thats a interesting comparison. But, i like it.
Ive seen quite a bit of Nik aswell and really like his game. And i have said 100X, "This kid has yet to scratch the surface of his potential. He would be top 3 had he played 1 more year in the O"

From what ive seen and heard, he is a intelligent player with size. Does he use his size all that much?
He might not be rated that highly in NA yet. But let me tell you this - Nicklas Jensen is the best Danish prospect ever. Above Lars Eller and Mikkel Bødker. Hopefully he can follow through this season.
Eller went 13th in 2007 and Boedker went 8th in 2008 (deep draft). Like you, if scouts also view him as the "best Danish prospect ever", I suspect he'll go much higher than the 21th rank he holds currently in the CSS NA Skater final rankings. Anyone see him rising into the top 10?
Really this year is so hard to predict outside the top 4, and even that's not certain. I could see Jensen cracking the top 10... also could see him going closer to #20. Weird weird year.
