Player of the Game & The Good, The Bad, The Redden: Game #65 vs. Buffalo Sabres

Player of the Game & The Good, The Bad, The Redden

The RulesWhat is the poll for?

You are voting for the player of the game - the one who put forth the most effort, who put the team on his shoulders, who contributed the most.

Do not vote for the player who had the best statistical game just because he had the best statistical game.

This does not mean you should not vote for the player of who had the best statistical game, but do not vote for him just because of that fact.

Who can I vote for?

You may vote for any player who dressed for the game and played at least one shift. If the player you want to vote for is not included in the poll, select "Other" and indicate in your post who you wish to vote for. In the case that I egregiously miss the player who everyone wants to vote for in the poll, I will count the votes in the thread.

What is this "The Good, The Bad, The Redden" nonsense?

It is my twist on the title of the famous spaghetti western movie, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Since multiple players may have outstanding games and you can only vote for one player in the poll, this affords you the opportunity to recognize multiple players, or a facet of the team, for their commendable play ("The Good"). This also affords you the opportunity to rip players, or a facet of the team, for their particularly substandard play ("The Bad"). Finally, just as "The Player of the Game" affords you the opportunity to recognize the best, this affords you the opportunity to commend the crème de la crème of the worst, who delivered an atrocious performance, or whose singular (or multiple) bad plays directly led to the the detriment of the team ("The Redden").

Alexander Frolov Memorial Trophy

The Alexander Frolov Memorial Trophy is awarded to the player who most exemplifies the qualities that Alex brought to the ice game in and game out. Most notable was his talent for wraparounds. Thusly, this award is given to the player who has the most wraparound attempts throughout the game.

For everyone saying this team shouldn't trade the youth... None of our youth can score, so where is it gonna get us?

The Ryan McDonagh award for POTG: Ryan McDonagh

The Good: McDonagh, the Dubi-Arty-Cali line (the only line that wasn't invisible)

The Bad: I don't really like to make excuses for this team, but last face it Buffalo got every single break you could possibly imagine tonight.

The Redden: This ****in guy...

I am never one to blame a game on the zebrae... but... This one part of the blame goes to them. The call on Sauer early on. The lack of 4 and I mean 4 not marginal, but blatant calls in the third period. Other part of the blame goes to Vinny Prospal.

The Tan Zebrae lost this game for us.

The Bad: Zucc is snakebitten. ****** first periods.

The Redden: Weak calls, inability to finish. Deja vu.

McCabe was the most "DECENT" tonight...

They should have shooting drills tomorrow. And Girardi should have a few lessons by Marc!

Nite!

Yea they are second liners on the Rangers, third liners everywhere else, and can barely put the puck in the net..

I've never, ever and I mean NEVER seen a team this snake bitten.

Unbelievable.

But I'm not gonna let this ruin the rest of my night.

Rangers fans deserve a better fate here.

..............

No potg win as a team lose as a team.......

Champions score that just dosent go for Zucc it goes for others like Stepan who shoots the puck into Miller instead of hitting the open net......

The offense is horrible and when they get chances they cant put it home....

even open nets.....

I like the philosophy, but seriously, we don't have any elite scoring talent in our system. None of these guys project to be first-line forwards.

Cursed.

If James Cameron were asked to direct a new The Bad News Bears you would get a Ranger game. 2 hours of watching a bunch of clueless retards running around like chickens with their heads cut off because their coach has no strategy. James Cameron would naturally make the plot predicable (3-2 loss).

I need to start holding a stress-ball during games. No fans have it harder I tell ya.

I don't get it they're called our youth because they're rookies and soph;s. You expect rookies and soph's to be scoring more than the 30-50 pts they will have at season's end? They are youth, inexperience, fail to bury some chances they will likely develop and learn to bury...Geez. Also lol at this "Champions score" nonsense thats appearring now. Yes rookie champions. Crosby did it (score) so why can't ours?

I think tonight was the turning point for me. Up until tonight, I still thought the Rangers were going to make the playoffs but I just can't see how it's going to happen anymore. Doesn't matter how the Rangers play, they just come up short. The refs don't help much either.

2nd line or not they're the best we've got, and we can't afford to trade them.
