You know it's bad when even the Versus guys start basically saying the Rangers are getting hosed.

It's two games in a row now, at home, where the refs have probably stolen at a minimum 2 points.

Boyle needs to be a 3rd tier talent.

And he would be.

If we had a real first line.

Agreed on every point.

How the tackle on dubinsky wasn't called and the high stick against Zucc wasn't called has got to be the refs payback for Torts calling them out. Stepan blew his chance with an open net and that was the difference, this team is not going to make the playoffs and everyone says no one expected us to be good this year. Garbage, this team is good but can't finish and has been falling apart since the end of January.

Well I think Boyle is top 6, 20 goals is top 6. But not top 3.

Thank God the versus announcers pointed it out because I thought I was crazy-- This team cannot pass the puck. They make the easiest plays look terrible.

I can't say I'm disappointed because I had no expectations to begin with. The only way this team is making the playoffs with this roster is Henrik pitching shutouts every night. It seems like Glen accepted this on trade deadline day, so we should all at the very least entertain the idea of missing the playoffs and focus on the weak-ass draft coming up

Potg: Anisimov

The good: Power-play, McDonough, Dubinsky, Callahan, Zuccarello, McCabe

The Bad: Wolski, Girardi, Not scoring

The Redden: Prospal for making a stupid rookie mistake in his NHL game number 961. The Zebras for swallowing their whistles on the 10 minute mark in the 3rd.

I'm very happy with the play of McCabe and McDonagh. Arty played well tonight, even without his goal. Zuc, come on, gotta ****ing bury the puck.

-We suck
-We need to trade the youth cause they are having growing pains
-Miller over Lundqvist
-Lundqvist lets in too many softies
-Zuccarello can't finish
-Yada yada ****ing yada

Some of the posts in the GDT are downright embarrassing. The fans wanted to go in the direction of youth and they are surprised that we struggle at times? Honestly what did people think would happen?

We are a young inexperienced team who have been decimated by injuries this year and people are *****ing and moaning and to make it worse there is some who want Anisimov moved and guys were on Del Zotto's case also.

Its sickening and to be honest i am tired of it. If things are like this at this stage of the season next year then maybe we can start to worry but give it some time for **** sake. The team will only grow closer and gain experience TOGETHER the more faith that is shown in them. Obviously moves will be made at some point in time but why don't we wait and see what the rest of this season and next brings rather than being ready to trades guys who have only been in the league a year.

The only thing you can complain about on Zucs chances is the first one. You have to poke at the goalie after the shot. No one seems to have a problem shoving their sticks up Hank's ass. If Zuc had done that the puck probably goes in. You don't stop playing till the whistle blows. Otherwise you can't blame Zuc for not burying those. Miller made a nice save on the second one.

Boyle is not top 6, he is a third liner. He has 20 this year, but has 12 in his last 3 seasons (107 games). He has 20 goals because he has had a good season, and has been given top line minutes.

Only caught a bit of the game:
- Sabres were bad, Miller was Miller when it counted (save on Zucc comes to mind)
- Shooters didn't finish when Miller wasn't Miller
- Refs missed key calls
- How's Stall doing with that knee? This could've been a win with a better PK

Anyone saying that Richards would've made a difference obviously doesn't know that he's out right now. This is a tough loss for the playoff picture, we need to be hot in March to make the playoffs. Hoping that the Sabres can lose some ground in their road trip, and we can make up some ground then. They have 15 games left in March, we have 13 games. They have mostly road games throughout the month including a lot of back to backs, that should put us at an advantage.

To look to Lundqvist in a loss like this is really starting to stretch things.
I'm not blaming him, I guess I just expect better. He seemed to be fighting the puck all night, and created a few changes for Buffalo by mishandling the puck, or confusing the defensemen with some indecisions on whether or not to play the puck. Again, not blaming the guy, but I just wish he'd come up with a few rabbits out of his ***, like it seems like every other goalie does against the Rangers.

As I said during the losing streak..we're a great supporting cast without a star to lead us...maybe a Dallas Star.

Seriously though, it'll be a complete joke if we don't make the POs. Waste of a season.

This team needs an elite finisher. If Gaborik can't do it, get someone else. Richards is not the answer. Richards is a great disher. Putting a great disher on a team that can't finish just means they'll miss even more great opportunities. We need a finisher, not a guy that lives on assists.

Why is it that this team always comes out so flat early in games? That's on Torts.

I know everyone wants the youth but sometimes we all have to face reality.. Our "youth" is not as good as we think they are... its kind of not close really..
