At what point though do we decide maybe it's not fisher but the system he's in? Sooner or later Trotz is going to need to take blame for some of this play. It's his job to get this team up to playing to their level and not the Oilers level. These games make his coaching style's problems seem more obvious, I kinda feel like this season is just a disappointment, moreso after the allstar break, where we were looking fine and have just done a bellyflop despite having more home games than any other team, which was supposed to propel us into a great position in the playoffs.
That game never should have gone to OT. Against the worst team in the league, we play down to their level and lose a point. That's now 3 points we've squandered against these bums, oh, and they traded their top scorer yesterday. That is sooooo bad.
Other teams are taking care of business against better teams (Calgary, Dallas), we can't hold serve. This is really odd to watch. I'm not used to seeing such uninspired play from the Preds down the stretch. They just have no jump, and are honestly hard to root for.

Kostitsyn is rapidly turning into Radek Bonk, Erat couldnt score on an empty net, and everyone who told us Fisher couldnt finish was obviously right.
