Because Loktionov was playing in Manchester that game wasn't management's fault - it was an innocent-enough hit along the boards that could have happened at ANY level. It's too bad but these injuries can happen at any time, here's hoping he comes back stronger next season.

Yes, the first response is to say why the F was he there in the first place and it only makes it sting more that he got sent down, but no one new this would happen.

What terrible news. Just terrible. Poor Kid. I hope he heals well and come abck stronger than ever.

What this does illustrate is that no PLANS for the future are set in stone. No perfect time exists. Injuries happen. Life happens and the unforsessen always intercedes.

Just think of all the high draft picks we could have stockpiled with the suckage this team would have been if we followed that suggestion

Lets make it a 12 year plan all with no guarantees. Accountability, leave that for later.

You know, if Lotki is your insurance if Sturm get's claimed in the next 24 hours, maybe they should have held him out of the lineup last night?

Now he's out for the year, Sturm's been claimed and we're looking at Kevin Westgarth in a first line role today.

I can't believe people are actually blaming management for his injury. That's like blaming someone who locks his car for having someone smash the window to break into it.

You don't think Jack could have used a year in Manchester? I do.

I'll try to find the Tweet/link, but I believe I read yesterday that he will have surgery to repair the shoulder.

Searching Twitter for "loktionov"... fortunately there's only one Loktionov people are talking about at the moment.

People are looking to blame Kings management for Loktionov's injury? Seriously? WTF? What happens if a meteor hit him? Is that cosmic justice or just gravity? He got injured because he's a youngster and physically undeveloped. That's why he shouldn't have been in the NHL at this point in the season. This is just bad luck. Maybe we should blame his parents for their DNA.

Or maybe we should be patient with teenagers and just help them get bigger and stronger, ffs.
