I give Terry 2 periods before we see someone else on the right wing.

... Perhaps Murray is learning.

We'll see by the end of Thursday's game. Actually, it'll be apparent from the start. If Quick is starting, it'll be the same old "I constantly preach accountability but rarely put it into practice" Terry Murray.

I'm sure TM is licking his chops at the versatility he has with the lines now.

I know that we've gotten used to seeing constant line juggling but TM has shown an unwillingness to break up lines with a great deal of chemistry, like the Smyth - Stoll - Williams trio and the Frolov - Handzus - Simmonds line last year, so if the Penner - Kopi - Simmonds/Brown first line can establish the same the same type of synergy, I think he'll stick with it. Most of the line juggling has been an attempt to find a winger for that first line, so if Penner ends up being that great fit, I think we might see a little more consistency, which would obviously be a huge benefit.

He hasn't named a goalie yet and he usually vouches for Quick immediately after tough games, so it's safe to say he's considering both.

Penner - Kopi - Williams
Parse - Schenn/Loki - Brown
Smyth - Stoll - Simmonds
Clifford - Richardson - Lewis
Westgarth - Zeiller
Yes i know that. But i hope Parse will be back soon because he deserve a real shot.
Same with Moller

But since you ask for next year i see something like that.

Penner - Kopitar - Williams
Parse - Loktionov - Brown
Smyth - Schenn - Simmonds
Clifford - Stoll - (I hope for an intelligent fast post season addition like Chimera)

Bernier in nets tomorrow, Loktionov having surgery on his other shoulder like Barry said, out for the year.

Where's Tantrum? He keeps saying Matt Barry knows nothing about hockey, looks like he's right again

Atleast Lokti is coming to LA for the surgery, so he'll probably rehab here.

Didn't Morris say he thought Loktionov would be out for the rest of the season right after the game? I'm impressed that Matt was able to read the same game recap that I did.

I like the Penner-Kopitar-Simmonds line. They can all threaten offensively, have the size to cycle well, should be able to jump on A LOT of rebounds (a big part of Murray's system), and we all know Simmonds and Penner will be willing to stand up for Kopitar if anyone tries to cheapshot him.

Someone probably said this already, but I bet TM switches out Penner 3 minutes into the game. It's the Terry way!

heres hoping penner channels a little simmer from here on and we have a legit first line, he has good hands, hard to move and understands spacing to get those rebounds back on net and not over or wide of it

I think it will be interesting to see how Penz does with Simmonds or his opposite side. He has played with Hemsky, who like it or not is a gifted playmaker on his opposite but then he hasn't had a center of Kopitars quality in who knows.

It should be interesting.

Nah Barry tweeted that he needed surgery on the other shoulder, when people didn't know whether it was his wrist or shoulder
