Anyways, I'm thinking it's either going to be a blowout like 6-2, or it'll be another close 2-1 ish game. Blues might win, because they're playing spoiler now. Nothing to play for = lot looser locker room, so Flames have to be careful.

Go Flames Go.
Woohoo, I sort of predicted it!
IT'S A BIG EVENT IN MY LIFE FOR ME OK?

Great win, Flames.

We're in 5th Place!!

edit - post 1,001 lol. wonder where 1000 was at

Killed them. 34 with back to back shutouts, so sweet!

I think the Flames answered my call... that was a nail, not the final nail but a nail indeed.

Kipper with back to back shutouts against the same team... wonder how many times thats ever happened?

GOOOOOO FLAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was a bit worried with the second period as the Blues came at the Flames with some energy and it was still a 1 goal game. Glad we put them away in the 3rd.

THE CAPTAIN BRINGS IT, TEAM FOLLOWS IT.

Kipper with the back to back SOs. Hot damn! If I had a fantasy team right now, I'd get a hell of a boost from this game.

Somebody pinch me...because I must be dreaming!

6 - 0 Flames win!

Too much to even talk about!
Top line was sensational...defence was magnificant....ANOTHER shut out for Kipper and the Flames...SIX goals for a team many touted at the beginning of the year to have no offence is now 6th (i think) for GA in the league!

This Flames team is remarkable and they are firing on all cylinders

GO FLAMES GO!

could have been a closer game on the scoreboard they missed some good chances. Nonetheless we deserved the win. GO FLAMES.

Did Bishop even make a save in the 3rd period? Yikes.

Just do that again tomorrow night.

Well, all I can say about that one is hopefully we don't play the Flames the rest of the year. Not looking forward to April 1st . Your team is very reminiscent of the 08-09 Blues. Getting very good goaltending, outworking other teams, great backchecking and shot blocking. Good luck rest of the way

Brendan Morrison: $725,000, 9G, 43P
Alex Tanguay: $1,700,000, 17G, 51P
Jarome Iginla: $7,000,000, 28G, 61P

Our top line makes a combined $9,425,000 and has a combined 54 goals and 155 points. Solid.

That scoring depth we added at the deadline is paying off!

Sucks for the Blues, if even one thing went their way it could have been a completely different game.

Especlly morrison is what I like most exceptional pick up for D. Sutter, when he wa in charge, brenda has been outstanding all year at a bargain price.

I wasn't too impressed with the Flames in the first 40 minutes of this game, but they sure stepped up big in the 3rd period. Kiprusoff is world class. Good to see Iginla take over this game. It's always nice to see.

Hopefully the out of town scoreboard is kind to us tonight.

Huge, huge back to back wins!! Unfortunately for the Blues it looks like their season is done. Kipper and Iggy are still what makes this team run and everyone else is contributing. I used to really think Moss was a garbage player, and I mean he was an oppertunistic garbage goal player. But he is really starting to grow on me with how he is rounding out his game.

Come on guys, the finish line is in sight, keep the foot on the gas!!

Tanguay's goal was ludicrous awesome:-)

Outside of all the obvious positives from this win I'd like to give a huge shout out to the whole roster for being disciplined. The blues were running our guys all over the ice and Calgary showed all class by not responding. This is exactly how a veteren team should play. Our performance tonight would make the DET coaching staff pee their pants with joy.

Great job in that department. Cheers to Kostopolous for fighting that bum Janssen. The guy is a loser with no respect for other players. Even though Kostopolous was outmatched he still dropped the gloves, good for him.

A bit of an odd request, but if anyone knows where to find the Heritage Classic video shown in the first intermission and point me at it, I would be in your debt.

I know, I still haven't forgiven him for that cheap shot on Prust which broke his jaw. What a ******!
