Today I say Boosh.

In two months if Bobs puck playing abilities improve I'd say Bob.

This I don't get. Boucher is terrible at handling the puck and he seems to get a pass. Does anyone remember that game last year when boucher made the stick save because he turned the puck over which allowed a seemingly empty net shot? Boucher is just as bad handling the puck as Bobrovsky.

I'm voting Bob.

I'd start with Boucher, since he's been to the playoffs and has a better chance to withstand the spectacle and the pressure to getting going. When the puck drops, I'll curl into the fetal position and repeat my mantra that this year's team is better than last year's, so logically there will be a better outcome.

Boucher. He's earned it so far. Bobrovsky has been great this year, but I think he needs a little more seasoning and could benefit from a slow transition to post season play.

Bobby Boucher.

Simply because Bob has been extremely shakey lately.

Rotation, but the first 2 games would likely be Boosh. He has playoff experience, Bob doesn't, and I wouldn't want to shock Bob and throw him to the wolves. Play Boosh and hope he gets a 2-0 lead in the series, then let Bob test the waters and go it from there.

Against all the odds, they played Bobs in the season opener even everyone though it'll be Boosh's game.

But yeah, agree, let Boosh start the playoffs and make decisions one game at a time.

To me it seems as though Bob lets in a weak goal or two and then plays amazing from then on...Bouch seems to be more consistent throughout the game, but at the same time, I think Bob has more potential to steal games than Bouch. He's faster and sometimes looks plain dominant. Bouch is less of a risk which is often a good thing in the playoffs, it gives the team some confiedence in their goalie.

I dont really care which one we go with, I have confidence in whomever they choose.

I voted start Boucher. It just makes sense IMO because he has had success in the post season, knows what to expect, whereas Bob hasnt seen it at all, and its an ugly beast.

I agree with the other poster though who mentioned rotation. If they went with a rotation, start bouch in the first game, bob after that. Your in till you lose/come close to losing.

It'll trip up teams in the post season too if they dont know who the starter is until game time. Who do they prepare for? it'll be extra work for them If the Flyers keep them guessing.

bobrovsky must start. been there done that with the other one. their just danglin false hope in front of him because they know bob needs to rest alot more because of his lack of experience in the longevity department. Bob will compete us to the promised land. doucher will only tease.

I think you start off with Boosh and if he doesnt play well, you throw Bob out there.

If you were to reverse that and for some reason need to go back to Bob, his confidence could be shot.

A veteran like Boucher is more apt to handle that situation.

Either way, it'll be interesting...

It's a wash in my opinion as far as who's been better over the course of the season. Bob's a-game is the stronger of the two, but Boucher is the vet, and has been steady all season. I say let Boucher get his shot with a short leash, he's earned at least that. I have to admit I am very interested to see Bob play with some playoff adrenaline going through him. I think he'd be dominant.

Bob's first 15 games: .932 save percentage

Bob's next 26 games: .907 save percentage

Bob might be the tease.

I'd go with Bobrovsky if we're even naming one, which it doesn't seem Laviolette is ever going to do. The other night he claimed he won't decide until the morning of the first playoff game. Looking the other way, if you had to switch, which one would you rather be switching to? I'd rather have Boucher available to come off the bench.

I go with Bob since Leighton is better than Boosh and you all know how that story ends.

Neither. We should have gotten a goalie at the deadline because they're both awful.

Ya Bob's a flake. What a joke.

But seriously, now that it seems like Boucher has cooled down also, be interesting if some of the votes changed.

The whole team's been bad, and the goalies have had some bad games, too.

I maintain the same vote I always have...keep using the goalie who's had the hot hand or matches against the team you're playing stylistically.

If our team can pull its collective head out of its ass, and either guy can get back to form (which I think they will), they'll be fine.
