After the top 4, the talent dropoff is undeniable. Huberdeau and Strome are nice but not great. Next year is looking like a beastly draft. If we can accelerate the Sens rebuild and go up into next years draft twice, I'd be much happier than with picking one of the million question marks in the first round of the 2011 draft.

This. This. And This. Next year is looking like a draft similar to 2008's. A lot of high end talent in the first round. Having two picks in the 1st round next year would be a dream come true.
If we keep our pick though, we'll probably be picking around 10-16, depending on if we make the playoffs or not. In that range, my short list includes Armia, Zibanejad, McNeill, Murphy (I think he'll drop like Fowler did), and Catenacci
