We will be bowing down to Couturier next season!

Damnit, who am I kidding. We'll go on some meaningless run, get in 9th, and draft an enforcer.

It is absolutely astonishing how awful we are at home. I struggle to find any type of real explanation. Only thing I can think of--and it goes with my "gripping the sticks too tightly" thing--is that we just put too much pressure on ourselves.

No way man. Atleast the Giants death was quick and painle-...well, still painful. After that loss I knew what was happening though. With an entire month left to play, and a past month and a half ruining me, this is MUCH worse.

The Yankees are really the only think that have kept me going over the last few years.

Now the Knicks are on the upswing again and I am actually starting to feel better again. I refuse to let the Rangers bring me down.

Rangers/Giants/Chelsea fan... I saw Giants win the 3 super bowls, got to see a Stanley cup win when i was 14, saw Chelsea win a double last season. This year every team fell apart... just my luck. On tuesday Chelsea was playing Man U and Rangers vs Sabres, I said all I want is a Ranger win, i can live with losing to the best team in the Premiership, well Chelsea wins and the Rangers lose, my luck.

I agree about the playoffs, can't see how we turn it around, at least not until after we lose the next 5 games.

Richards ain't gonna do a damn thing for this team. He'll get paid some ridiculous amount of money for a ridiculous amount of time, and end up being a Gomez.

Then everyone calling for Sather to sign Richards will call for Sather's head for signing Richards.

I don't know what's worse, watching the Rangers underacheive, or watch Ranger fans be hypocrites.

The Rangers just make me wanna bow down in front of Yankee Stadium saying "thank you, thank you" until my tongue falls off. The Rangers bring me down to Earth from my other three teams, who have done pretty well; 27 World Series, 11 national lacrosse titles, superbowl XLII. And I'm not a huge basketball guy but I keep an eye on the Knicks, and even they're doing better.

All that being said, I have a passion for the game of hockey unmatched by anything else in this World, and I love the Rangers more than all my other teams combined, so this really stings. I root for my other teams, but I am a Ranger.

Side note: That guy over there <==== has 5 goals in 2 games, someone teach him how to skate!

I wish I could have been a Yanks fan. That would have been awesome. Instead, I get...the Mets.

I like basketball, but have never been a huge fan. I'm interested in the Knicks, but will never have the same level of emotional attachment that I have to the Mets/Jets/Rangers.

Plus, the Red Bulls season is kicking off.

I'm going to try as hard as I can to enjoy this last stretch of games here because it is going to be the last we see for awhile. But I haven't seen this team so cursed in awhile. We have the 3 straight shutouts in 08-09 and the 2 goal lead blowing spree in 07-08, but both of those were much shorter. This has been going on since the new year.

I agree this is a miserable feeling. But for Gmen the last 2 years, in final month of season they controlled their own destiny. And failed miserably to capitalize on it. Also for the fact that Giants are considered to do special things each year, as for the Rangers its just youth and hope. Either way, pissing away the season when it matters most always hurts.

I'm so disgusted with the Mets at this point, after being a fan since '77, that I won't even watch them.

The way they're playing lately, it won't surprise me a bit to see the Leafs make it.

This. I curse my father every day for making me a Ranger fan.

I'm starting to really love the Jets, but wouldn't call myself a die-hard yet. Yankees are probably my 2nd favorite team but I can't get the same excitement from a WS because they do it that often.

Also, you know things have gotten bad when the Post Game thread turns into the "talk about every possible sport other than the Rangers" thread.

Rangers/Giants.

I live in a Yankee household but dislike Baseball, so I can't appreciate that.

I'm a Knicks fan but like 2k2 it comes 3rd on the list of my emotional connections.
