I agree. It was an extremely exciting game to watch as a Habs fan.
The Habs were RAZOR sharp.
Awesome overall game. Great passing, flying into the attack zone with 3 and 4 players at a time. Winning board battles, getting many quality shots.
Price played his usual awesome game. Air tight. He was leaving no openings for the Panthers to score thru.
Many Canadians had a great game.

Not to poop on the parade because I thought the Habs played well, but that was a minor league Florida team. They looked like a bunch of AHLers against the Habs.
This guy is just waiting to break out in a big way.
Mark my words, 1-3 years from now people will be picking their jaw up off the floor and asking themselves where this beast came from. (Good line mates, and consistent minutes on a top 6 line, ample PP)
He's still hella inconsistent, but it may just be that he found a complimentary center in Eller. I sure hope so. I still have my doubts with him, although I was firmly in the "lets not trade him for a jockstrap" camp.

Eller and AK are a great tandem and AK feeds off the energy of his linemates so I would give him MaxPac so they can both dominate down low and pump each other up.

I kind of want to see what happens if we switched Halpern and DD. Give DD some top-6 minutes to see how he does. Plus, Halpern and Pouls had some good chemistry if I remember correctly.
Just a thought.
