I'm tired of hearing how boring we are once we've taken a lead or won a game, but if we lose it's how hard working we are. How it takes so much to beat us. It's annoying
I'm not going to lie. Ever since all our players went down and we have had a hard time scoring goals our games have been even more boring than usual BUT it's hilarious every single fanbase has the same predictable comments when facing us after a game.
It's either they lose and it's "Preds are so boring! I want to kill myself."OR "Good game guys we won because our team is so awesome!"

We may play boring hockey but their fans attempts to insult us are beyond boring. I was so bored reading their thread I almost fell asleep. Then again I may just be worn out from all the cheering.
Still not sure how you guys do it. I will agree with some of the posters, boring team to watch, but somehow you pull out a win.
When you watch the game, any knowledgable hockey person can tell, Vancouver has WAY, WAY MORE SKILL, but between Pekka, and hard checking, jumping on mistakes, you manage to win games.
if you turn on other games being played in the whole league, the skill level is not even close. Not sure if it is the style of play....D first, but it really is quite different.
Congrats on the win though. Trotz is looking like a genius with the line changes, but at what expense? At this point, pretty sure he has sucked any creativity and confidence out of Wilson, and I am pretty sure you may need him "big time" to create some offense on this team. Ward, Smithson, Spaling, Tootoo etc. playing way more minutes is crazy! Yes, he is young but with coaches confidence he could be dominant. Just my two cents worth!

and tootoo might have been the only pred on the ice that was trying to create something. i have knocked him before, but he played a really nice game. might be the first time that i agree with our announcers.
I dont have a problem with the stars. Geoffrion could have been up there, but if it wasnt for tootoo grinding it out there and making a pretty nice pass, geoffrion wouldnt be in the discussion at all.

and man! if i was a canuck fan, i would be pretty embarrased. losing to the most boring team in the league! pathetic really. I mean how are they not able to score on all those chances that they had? That play in the first minutes of the game that they blew? had to be because we are boring. what about sedin not able to put the puck in an empty net twice...boring predators again!?
all that said, i thought the canucks outplayed us most of the game. how many times do we need to throw a puck up the board easy only to have it not make it past the opposing player? we were out hussled to just about every puck in the first two periods! it was a little dis-heartening.

When your new home-town, hockey crazed fans were leaving in droves after ANOTHER one of your great giveaways, I don't think you even had the same turnout you got at that summer bash the cansucks threw.
