This may be a hint at where the team is planning on heading with Strachan in the future.
According to Strickland:
" D-man Tyson Strachan must play 15 more game this season for him to qualify as a group II RFA. If he finishes the year with less than 80 career NHL games he will be a group VI free agent which would make him unrestricted on July first."

I hope Cole has success, and remains up with " the big club" for the remainder of the season. Have only had the chance to watch him twice when he was up before.
Anyone with any imput on how he fit in before? How he looked?

In my opinion, Strachan should never see regular NHL time. Just never impressed me for more than a game or two here and there. By all means, keep him around if he is ok with being an AHL/NHL tweener.

I thought Cole looked shaky in his first call-up but then looked much better in his 2nd callup so I expect Cole to be fine in this call-up as long as he's not asked to do too much. I hope he's with the Blues the rest of the season as well...although I also hope the Rivs are able to make the AHL playoffs and Cole can then be sent down after the Blues season is over to play in the AHL playoffs.

If Cole is completely healthy he should be able to put in some effective shifts, but not really comfortable in a role so I don't anticipate him making an impact.
