Oh and to end, Doughty should have got 2 for diving and Burrows shouldn't have got a penalty.
What i dont get though is that the refs go, yes you got elbowed in the face, but you also dived, so even up the penalty count. Yet in the 2nd period, Brown nailed burrows in the shouler/chest, and Burrows went down clutching his face trying to get a call, yet he doesnt get embellishment on a play that was fair.
Can you only get diving penalties if there is a penalty the other way or something?
I HATE THE CANCUKS!! Such a dirty team! And what is with the city of Vancouver...? How can it possibely suck that much? How can THAT many people leave Vancouver for Los Angeles...??? Don't buy this they travel well bull crap. They don't! They already live in LA. The only thing Canadians love more then hockey is Los Angeles! And that's a FACT!
Actually this is a group of Canuck fans that has been organizing a US canuck trip every year for the past 5-6 seasons. They choose a city and go watch the Canucks play. These are mostly Vancouverites who have moved to the US.
Are you ****ing joking? Thank god he's playing with some anger and doesn't just sit around and pretend that it doesn't matter. We got robbed today and we had better hope the team takes some of this bull **** and brings the pain next time.
You want to point to Doughty? The whole team + coaches was livid.
We weren't robbed. Yeah, their goal was debatable, but we had eight minutes to score another goal.
Scoring 1 goal in a game is not gonna get us many victories. Especially strong teams like Vancouver.
Again, if Doughty doesn't fall down on the elbow, it's probably a 2 man advantage. He had been yapping at the refs for six straight minutes before the whole thing, so they were 100% gonna call him on that play.
This is just like the Phoenix game where the high stick goal shouldn't have been called. We had our chances. We failed. We were not the better team today. We need to get better.
I don't really hate the Canucks. Some of their fans are over confident and annoying, but their team is fine. Both teams took liberties today at times, and they just had more chances, shots, and beat us in the faceoff zone.
Both goalies played a great game, and we had tons of chances to turn the tide before that second goal against us. If Zeus buries his easy put back, then we're up 2-1 and we don't know how the game goes.
All they can do is put this game behind them and worry about the Stars.
How many times does Hamhius have to turn his back or duck before he learns his lesson? serves him right. Learn to take a hit without turning your back and you won't get hurt.
Actually, you should watch the replay again. He braced himself for the hit and then ended up taking a forearm to the head that drove him into the boards from Ponikarovsky. Dirty play - in no shape or form did Hamhuis contribute to the resulting hit or possibility of injury, he was braced for the hit perfectly.
