I Thought this is relevant, considering all of the "reports" out of Russia that Frolov is going to stay there this season -
Datsyuk's contract 'not a concern'
Red Wings downplay worries over reports in Russian media ...

A Russian newspaper report stating that Pavel Datsyuk might remain overseas next season — even if the NHL labor dispute is resolved — was apparently overblown.
The report, published earlier in June, indicated that Moscow Dynamo of the Russian Elite League had signed Datsyuk to a one-year, $2.5-million contract without an out-clause for 2005-06.
“We’ve talked to Datsyuk and his agent about the rumor of him not coming back, but it’s not true,” said Red Wings assistant general manager Jim Nill. “That was in the media. When we get a new CBA done and a new IIHF deal done, an NHL contract will always override an IIHF contract.
“It won’t be an issue. It’s not a concern.”
Datsyuk, a restricted free agent who turns 27 in July, won the Russian championship this year with Dynamo and picked up 15 goals and 20 assists points in 47 games. The 5-foot-10, 181-pound center had a career year with Detroit in 2003-04, scoring 68 points in 75 games.
