Price was awesome, he had his swagger tonight and when he has that swagger going .. good luck winning the game to any team facing him

Pacioretty is an awesome player to watch, so much power, so much speed. I am not sure I have ever seen somebody that strong have that kind of speed. They were discussing this on the Team 990 the other day and it was hard to come up with somebody that has his combination of strength and speed.

Subban -- You guys still remember he is still 21 right and that he was benched just a couple months ago? lol Man is this kid good or what. Martin stopped playing him on the PP to manage his ice time, he is getting 18-20 mins on even strength every game.

Gomez played a heck of a game, on both ends. He has now had a couple of strong games in a row, maybe having Pacioretty on his line opens up more space for him since Patches is constantly driving the net and opening up space for his line mates.

People criticize Sopel, but he plays his role well and takes PK minutes away from Hamrlik, which is essential for our team because we need Hamrlik to play even strength.

Hamrlik has been amazing since his ice time was reduce due to the Sopel trade and it is no coincidence. Very good sign heading into the playoffs.

Lack of toughness.

Next game is not the real test. The real test is in Boston.

In any case, this team is only as good as Price is. Period.

If he's going to command the entire surface of the ice (from corner to corner to corner to corner as centres are expected to do), something is going to have to change there.

Tampa was allowed to push and shove a lot, for lack of better terms.

If you get ahead by two early against a good team, especially on the road, you are going to get outshot. That's just the way NHL teams play.

The fact that Florida didn't outshoot the Habs even when they were behind by 2, 3, and 4 goals was a good clue that they were pretty crappy.

Can we coin term Hal Gill hat trick: "1 goal per game for 3 straight games" if he gets 1 Tuesday?

Never saw the whole thing but we were outshot something like 45-25... are we back to winning the way did in the playoffs last year... wins but nerve wracking wins.

I think it's obvious now that Tampa is a top heavy offensive squad with little depth as you go down the line up. I have found lately the reason Montreal is winning is not just because of the top 2 lines, but due to the depth on the 3rd and 4th lines. That's the correct formula or makeup of a team you want heading into the playoffs. That's the difference between a team like Tampa and Pittsburgh.

Some might consider Pittsburgh a top heavy offensive team, but as evident by their play they have the depth and team defense to hold down a playoff spot without two of the best players in the game in the lineup.

Now, let's beat the Bruins. We owe them one.

Someone in the GDT mentioned they liked how the anthems were presented this game. For the playoffs, we should have something special like each game, like having Shatner come in and rap/talk out the anthems.

Saw the whole thing and it didn't even feel like we were outshot by 20. We dominated the first and still got outshot. There were periods where the Lightning controlled play but for the most part we kept them on the perimeter...I felt like overall we were still the better team.

Gomez was a beast tonight.

Pleks and Cammy are just two different players on the road..Halpern is not going to cut it there. I'd try to maybe give Pouliot a chance on that line since Akost is doing so well with Eller.

Great win, honestly didn't know what was going to happen during these 3 road games but I'm really happy. Guys played good hockey especially Price who hopefully will be a star this week.

Patches keeps getting better and a month away from the playoffs Gomez played his best game of the year, keep it up Scott

How many more games are they gonna win by allowing + 40 shots to the opponents ?

Dangerous trend...
