Callahan obviously POTG, but I thought Gaborik had a strong return as well.

PotG: Cally
The good: A lot
The bad: I'm scared Torts is going to take out Avery and put EC back into the lineup on Wednesday. Come on Torts, after that game? I'm nervous.

The Redden: Well according to NBC, it was picking Sanguinetti over Giroux

Lot's of props for them all today, but that was a career game for Cally. Gotta love him causing havoc in front of the net!

Major props to Henrik here too. Alot falling on his shoulders right now with Biron injured and all. He stepped up big time!

Anisimov stood out as well. Played a very smart two way game.

Dubi was a beast again today.

Lastly...Officiating was putrid. Seriously, just unacceptable.

With the win, the Rangers are now 3rd in the Eastern Conference in goal differential with a +29. Amazing stat for a team that's 7th and could be lower.

Rangers record pre-Fedotenko injury:27-19-3
Rangers record post-Fedotenko injury:6-10-1
Rangers record post-Fedotenko return: 2-0

The lineup just feels more solid when he's in it.

By the way, even though he didn't score... I thought Gaborik looked better than he's looked all season. His decision-making was better. He actually stickhandled the puck and was skating hard. Now if he could just hit the net...

I'd like to give a little extra shout-out to Lundqvist. He's been proving the haters wrong the past few games. Despite the lopsided score, he made some great highlight reel worthy saves today.

I keep on seeing people on this board and others say that Lundqvist is having an "off" season but that's not true at all. .922 save percentage, tied with his career high. 2.29 GAA, 3rd best of his career. And his 9 shutouts are one away from his career high in 2007-08. "Off" season, my ass. Keep up the good work, Hank!

Tawnos, Fedetenko played against the Wild. 2-1.

Also, root hard for Washington tonight. If they do, they take over the division lead, and move closer to 2nd. It'd be awesome to play them in the playoffs, considering how well we've matched up against them this season.

Thanks, Ola. Go to more games! LOL.

Also, is this our most lopsided POTG poll so far?

I first watched Callahan in the Olympics in 2010 against Norway and was just very impressed over that guy. I watched my first NYR-game live today and here was that guy again, running over the opponent. He should be captain for the team.

POTG: Callahan
The good: Dubinsky, Hank, Zucca, McDonagh
The bad: The refs (looks like they stink in US too)

Good: McD, Sauer, Dubi, Zucc, Anisimov
Bad: All the people who wanted to claim Zherdev, guy is just not motivated
Redden: Can I just say Redden cause there is nobody else to be angry after today?

He did? How did I miss him? Actually, I wasn't paying close attention to that game... figures. Box score agrees with you though...

Still though, I feel better with him back.

Glad the team gave you a win your first time. Congrats!

Callahan is the odds-on favorite to be the next Captain. Astute observation.

Lundqvist with some pretty key saves..

Cally..flawless on this one..

Zuccarello with 2 goals and solid play..

McCabe with calmness and smartness..

Dubinsky for a captain's game..

Too many to consider really...

Can we please get a "vote for everyone" option??

Rangers notified Flyers Friday that they would wear white jerseys."Just to change things up", a team spokesman said.

Flyers agreed to the proposed change. Probably last time that happens.
