Thank god wenset the tone early with a great first shift , and a goal and a key save on that Philly 2 on 1 by Henrik .Thank god Philly didn't show up prepared to play , they have balanced scoring no doubt but I can't see them getting back to the finals with BB or Bob I'm sorry , that was some horrible goaltending by Boucher but kudos to Cally and the NYR for doing there 3rd period desperation push at the start of the game .

Thank you. It was a great game. I hope and believe they will make the playoffs. Maybe this is a turning point and they become more consistent with more scoring. With all the injuries they had through the winter and now that everyone is back I think it will be better times the next weeks.

Hah, might be. Maybe they wanted to get away from the nice, but cursed Heritage jerseys as well... I dunno.

The white jerseys has grown on me as of late.

Cally was POTG.
Right it's not talent it's experience. I mean you could argue we lack a Crosby so technically ok we lack top end talent and top end talent buries it more, grips the stick less. So it's both ends

Fantastically enjoyable game. Keeping things in perspective moments like this are why idc if we make the PO's or not and still feel great about this team going forward. Cally is officailly a 2nd/3rd liner and not just a 3rd liner.

Let's keep winning. beat my prediction of 6-5-3

I went with Lundqvist because of that kick save that he made in the first. Once the Flyers start scoring, they don't stop and if that goal goes in, I had a feeling the Rangers would lose. ALso, if that goes in, the momentum changes completely to the Flyers. I'm not discounting Cally's beastly effort because he is one of my favorite players and he had arguably the best game of his career, and Zuccarello's 3rd goal basically sealed the deal. But without that save, I dont think we win the game.

Thank god for Lundqvist, Cally, and Zuke!!!

We could have had a 4th string OPJHL goaltender in tonight and still won the game. For that reason, I go Callahan. 4 goal games don't happen every day, especially for a third liner.

Just got back from the train ride. I am now 7-0 at Rangers games, the streak lives. It's gotta be a sign, I'm 7-0, and they win 7-0, with four goals from my favorite player. The Rangers must like me. I wish I could get to more games.

Some amazing highlights today; my first hattrick, my first touchdown, Dubinsky giving Mike Richards one of the worst beatings I've ever seen, and Gilroy shooting it right at McCabe and hitting him right in the bell (what was he thinking on that one?). Hartnell fell down 8 times. Great stuff today. I knew it was gonna be a good day when I was singing the goal song 53 seconds in. They're a tad inconsistent, but when the Dubi-Arty-Cally line is on, they're absolutely lethal. A gutsy ass effort from McD too, I was surprised to see him back so soon.

POTG: Gee I wonder who it is...

The Good: I'm the Undertaker of Rangers games
The Bad:The pile up in the bathroom during the second intermission. It took me 10 minutes to pee.
The Redden: The officiating

I dont think a 4th string goaltender makes that save Hank made in the first

I don't think he does either. But we won 7-0. Hank played well but he was not the difference in the game.

I think he was. Like I said before, that puck goes in, its an entirely different game. I bet if that goes in, the game changes completely towards the Flyers favor and they have the offense to light it up.

Possibly. Seems like that makes that particular play a candidate for play of the game then, but not really Henrik for player of the game.

That makes sense. Player of the game: Cally, Play of the game: Lundqvist. Every body happy

Voted for Dubinsky as player of the game.

His hit in the corner on Carle set the tone for the day. Controlled the puck with Coburn on him and centered the puck to Callahan to make it 1-0.

Then Dubinsky beat up Richards.

Get the Group II line going. Finish the regular season the same way they started the regular season.

The Rangers are flying to California tonight. Off tomorrow. Practice Tuesday at 2pm NY time.

Where did you see they were flying out tonight? Thought they would fly out tomorrow after practice but I guess they wanted to get adapted to the time change which isn't a bad idea at all.

Actually looked pretty good, though still struggling to bury the puck. Got a nice chance early on with a sharp angle shot, just him and Prospal working well together and him finding space for a chance. Had a breakaway and missed just wide, tried to setup Cally for a fourth goal (before his real fourth goal).

Skated well, just needs to figure out how the hell to get his scoring touch back. I think it's always good to have him in the lineup though, since it makes other teams focus on his line and let's the other lines work things more

Yeah, I thought he played well too. One play that stood out to me was that breakaway you mentioned where he missed. Right after the shot, he went to go chase the puck down in the corner and get a shot off before the Flyers goalie (don't know if it was still Boucher or not) got back into the net. That showed me the effort was there. He also looked involved the entire game.

Cheers guys. Was curious as much as anything mainly because he didn't register a point in a 7-0 win. Obviously points aren't everything, but it surprised me.
