Will suspended players count towards the cap???

I read somewhere that if a player is injure, the injure games that the player misses will not count towards the cap. This is because a team might need to replace that player for the time that he was injured. Therefore, the team should not be penalized. I think I read it in the Leafs forum about Forsberg.

If this is the case, then what about suspended players? It's very likely that Bertuzzi will be suspended and if he does get 20 games (hypothetical number), then that's $1.33 million for the 20 missed games. We can use this money to sign players if suspended players missed games didn't count towards the cap in the new cba.
